Check in was very nice took a taxi from the airport and the bell staff took our
bags and stored them till the room was ready.(checked in and had room cards @ 10am but
not able to get into room til 2pm)
Room was clean and neat, bathroom was up to date, and the view was great.
There were 3 people and 2 beds we asked for more towels and the water that is given
each day and had no problems.
Stayed for 4 nights on a special book 3 and the forth night is free deal.
Check out was again very easy and the bell staff stored our bags until we needed to depart
for the airport.(check out @ 11am and flight not until 4pm)
Will stay there again, yes it is not the best, but it is also no where near the worst
place to stay.

I assume they are included in the resort fee.

It gets excellent ratings as long as you don't mind being at Monte Carlo.

I'm going to be at Monte Carlo in a week, why would I mind it?

It's just nothing special is all.
It's not a bad hotel/casino, it's just not a particularly good one either.
I actually enjoy playing BJ there a lot because they have some pretty good low limit games and it's never overly crowded there.
Quote: FinsRuleOk, so since it's free, I should be okay, right?
Yeah. Monte Carlo is like ordering a bottle of wine. You never get the cheapest one because it's gonna suck, so you get the second cheapest. The rooms are clean and have beds and the casino has a pretty good variety of games with lower limits abound. It isn't as dirty with kids running around as Excalibur and it doesn't have the college party types as Luxor. It's just there.
Quote: beachbumbabsI like hotels.com and booking.com for good, competitive rates. But I've found that the best deals are usually on the hotel website itself; I use the first two sites to get an idea, then check the hotels themselves for unadvertised deals and multinight discounts.
Thanks for the input! I actually just took all of the websites, including the hotels' websites and compared their rates for the same dates. Went with in the end, but the difference to the offer on the other websites you mentioned was really not thaaat big. But thank you very much anyway, I'm very much looking forward to my stay! :)

That's pretty much what I am hoping for. A little bit better than Excal/Lux with a better location.
When is a comp not a comp?
Me and my GF often take advantage of free room offers and combined it with free food. No cleaning or cooking for her. Sounds like a good deal but.....
13 bucks a day per device, me + GF , 1 device each x 5 days = FU

I was in Vegas this past weekend. The good thing about the Monte Carlo is that it has access to the mid strip casinos through the tram. You walk through the food court and you can take the tram to the Bellagio which of course is prime mid strip location. It saves a bit of walking on a hot day on the street. Plus, if you want to go to some place like mandalay bay. It is a short walk from the front of Monte Carlo to the excalibur casino which has a tram to mandalay bay and the luxor. As for the casino itself, it isn't bad at all. They have a decent sports book and the table games seem to have reasonable limits as well.
