The Hard Rock has "bought" a large slice of the locals market by acquiring the loyalty of all those PTs customers at outlets around town that are Burger Bars with fifteen machines.

The loyalty cards from PT will be spendable at the Hard Rock and PT-related events will take place at the Hard Rock.

I think this is a way that casinos will compete in the future: "Buying customers".

The PTs are largely social bars that get groups of office workers, sports enthusiasts, people who want a burger and beer atmosphere and enjoy the VP slots as well. Now the Hardrock is "buying" the PT customers loyalty, thus gaining numbers of trained gamblers.
