I recently joined the players club at Eastside Cannery and received a pretty decent mailer almost immediately, including a $25 off coupon at any restaurant and a free night's stay, with very little play by me. I am curious if anyone can share any info as to their experience about what levels of mailers are generated by what levels of play. I am considering giving some regular action here if the return is good.

I've heard its a good place, offers cheap rooms, even cheaper if you play their WebPass game online, has good latin music and good hot sauce in its buffet. I tried to start a thread on that WebPass program at home to get discounts for when you actually visit but there were no takers. It has a Spanish language Twitter stream to remind you of events and bargains.
The following comment is stolen from a poker player who did a monster 26 days in Vegas at twelve dollars a day.
"...Kaiser salute to Eastside Cannery for the most confusing, intentionally anti-tourist, on-line Webpass promotion as well as the dysfuntion encountered when trying to nail down the confusing and conflicting rules for prize redemption. ..."

It's worth giving them some play. It's not hard to generate offers. Also, the Cannery (up north) does marketing separately so you can generate offers from both.

As in you could do it for completely free? or 26 days is weak?
If he is reading about the same guy I did, I feel like it's pretty impressive. Dude's pushing 60.

At my peak, I did the math and could slot in about a month and a half solid between me and a friend (who was retired and pretty much bummed the ride up off of me, so we always played together) without paying a single night, and often having tournament invites, giveaways and food credit.

I did four months. Only broke for New Years. No food costs and transport was the bus.
I really should write an article. Did do a radio show...

You should do an article if you can, I think it would be a very informative read.

I'm attempting to do the same thing you did (see my blog) and would love to see an article on how it's done. A breakdown of coin in, comp received, and which comps were given to you with points or used a host. I remember on GWAE you quit because you got a job, but could you have kept this going for longer? How do manage to get so many rooms/food if casinos want to take your money, and spit you out within a week or so?
