If it’s $4, I am much better off playing with an independent casino vs a casino that is part of a conglomerate. I want to be rated based off the local level of Reno, not Vegas.
Looks too much like a penny a point. Half a cent a point if you want free play for your points.
I'm not quite sure how you earn Tier Credits, or what they're for - probably to earn Platinum / Diamond / Seven Stars.
Reward Credits are definitely penny a point; I get those from my Caesar's Visa card. While it doesn't say exactly how table games rate points, it's 1 point per $5 bet on slots, and 1 point per $10 bet on (non-full pay) VP. (The card pays 1 point per $1 spent, with double points for "restaurants, travel, and entertainment," and 5x points when used at a Caesar's property.)
Quote: VegasriderI guess it doesn’t really matter, my play is somewhat considered high in local independent casinos but compared to Las Vegas, it’s minimal. I am better off playing at places where $10 BIJ can still get you free rooms

Unfortunately 400 points is very low whether they're tier points or reward points.
Quote: billryanIf you play every few weeks, 400 points per session would get you Platinum status, but I don't know what benefits that gets you.

Free valet parking for platinum at Caesars Palace. I know that even though I dont play there. My friends tell me it's the only worthwhile benefit left.

I live in Reno, it’s free to park at every casino including Valet so that particular perk wouldn’t apply.
As mentioned above, TC's are used determine your card/status level (5,000 TC's for Platinum, 15,000 TC's for Diamond, and so on). RC's can be used for comps. They are worth a penny a point, but be careful using them for dining as some casino restaurants redeem at 2:1. That is, your RC's are only worth half a penny at some restaurants.
So, yes Vegasrider, I agree with your assessment that Caesars Rewards is very stingy with comps. However, I do find they will often make up for this by sending generous room offers for return visits.
Quote: VegasriderI would steer away from the Caesar’s properties in Reno. You are better of at the Nugget in Sparks. My friend from Connecticut never pays for a hotel room when he visits and he plays $10-$25 BJ. Puts in long sessions. He also gets free rooms at the Grand Sierra but they tried to screw him last visit.

Can you explain how they tried to screw him? I visit GSR occasionally so I'm curious

Doesn’t that cost extra?
By square footage definitely but I would wager dollars to donuts Pepp/Atlantis have more gross revenue. Could be wrong, though. Nugget doesn't even register anymore.Quote: VegasriderGSR added an extra $10 a night because he booked the comp rooms with an operator and they also charged him a resort fee. He likes the GSR because there are more games , by far probably the largest casino in Reno.

$10+ a night is annoying and I get it, but how could Caesars make a $400 mistake on a comped offer? And they've done this kind of thing more than a couple times (this was probably the worst offense).
