Last time I was at the Linq, I noticed the line was long and went to the kiosk. Swiped in, was told that I had resort fees, as Diamond, so I had to go back and talk to a person to resolve it anyways. This is also the place where I was told that Diamond got unlimited WiFi devices the previous trip, so... fun.
I'm not sure if it was a convenience surcharge or regular resort fee, but I wasn't charged it by the person, and it was well past early check-in times.

Why didn't you use the VIP checkin? Rarely a line and Diamonds can use.
