The entry fee was $30 a person, but locals were free. The line to get in took about 5 minutes. There was a small stage in the middle of the main room, with lots of seating at chairs with small tables around it. Compared to other clubs I've been to, just watching girls on stage is not the emphasis here. Most tables were too far away, including mine, to appreciate what was going on at the stage. On our table were a bunch of business cards offering free limo transportation and entry fee. Now we all felt like chumps for paying $50 to get there, and $30 to get in.
The sound level was very high. This is what I hate most about Strip clubs. Some clubs tone it down a bit, but not Sapphire. They crank it up to the point where you can't have a conversation without straining your voice and ears. Perhaps that is a selling point to get into the quieter VIP room. The ventilation system was evidently good, as I was not bothered by smoke.
The girls were all very pretty. I would say they put an emphasis on young natural looking girls. You did not see a high percentage of enormous boobs, as some other clubs prefer. I was also pleased to see an absence of tattoos. There is nothing more of an eyesore than to see big ugly tattoos ruining the skin of a beautiful young woman. I'm not saying nobody had small ones somewhere, but between being far from the stage, and the darkness of the club, I didn't notice any.
The emphasis at Sapphire seems to be on lap dances. Girls comes along all the time trying to sell them. While they are very nice, and a bit touchy, they are good about taking no for an answer. If you say "maybe later," they will accept it and leave. The dances are the usual $20. The one girl I got one from asked for a tip as well.
From what I'm told, the VIP prices are something like $100 for three dances, $200 for a half hour, and $400 for one hour. There is also a two-drink minimum, for both you and the girl, which I think comes to $24. The touching policy is pretty liberal in the VIP room. Based on a sample size of one, they let you touch pretty much anywhere other than what the thong covers.
There is also a separate room for the ladies. I took a quick look, and there was a very well built guy on the stage, and it looked like a female patron was giving him a lap dance. It was a fairly big room, about half the size of the main room for the men.
Would I go back to Sapphire? Probably not. It was too loud, and most tables were too far from the stage to see anything. However, if you're a big spender, I think you'll get treated very well by some very beautiful women there. If you go there mainly to just watch girls, I think you'll be disappointed. Then again, you're probably the kind of patron the club really wants anyway.
Sapphire web site.
Also, please, please somebody tell me they've been to this strip club and can comment on it:
The Library strip club Las Vegas
I like that they advertise $10 "happy hour" lap dances and their VIP room is the "Archive Room."
As for the stage/chair setup, Wiz was spot-on. Lots of space between chairs & small-ish stage, lots of different girls walking around wanting to give you company. As for the lap-dance quality, I didn't have one, but I bought our bachelor a handful. And within that he received the best lap-dance he'd ever had from one of the best looking dancers ever; then that was followed-up by a dance from a dancer he couldn't wait to have get off of his chair. So I guess you could say it was hit or miss.
On a side note, we went to Spearmint a couple nights later. Darker, more intimate setting, even MORE girls there, many very attractive but an increased "enhanced" factor overall.
Oh yeah as my service to the dopes I’m going with I will be printing out and laminating copies of you Black Jack basic strategy table. I will make sure the website address is included on the card.

Little Darlings is good for that. There aren't even any lap dances on the floor, so you don't have to worry. The dances are all done in booths in the back for $20/song. I should note that this is an all-nude place and there is no alcohol inside. The bouncers will let you drink in the parking lot, coming and going as you please, if you tip them. At my friend's bachelor party we stashed our booze in a wooden bar they set up for us near the side entrance. It was kinda cool.
For a topless place with a stage show, maybe Cheetahs, but the girls aren't great there.

I agree with the post above that Little Darlings would not be a bad choice. You can see review for more information. However, I would strongly suggest you consider getting private strippers. The cost is about the same, maybe a little more, than the VIP rooms in a Strip club, but your entire party will be able to enjoy the show, not just one guy. The private strippers will go a lot further too. Trust me, you'll get WAY more more for your money.

That will indeed be a good gift. Thanks for giving me proper credit.

Treasures is a great place for stage only. They do lap and private but the pressure isn't nearly as great. We sat at the stage all night long with no hassles. They also have a fantastic happy hour if you get there early enough. I think before 7:00pm. Food too.

I heard that some of these private girls have sticky fingers amongst other problems. Do you have any recommendations?
>Do you have any recommendations?
Yep. Bear in mind at all times that Vegas is built on illusions and hype and that is most of all true in the strip clubs. The girls have to pay for stage time, they have to get there early in order to pay a lower stage-rent. They are there to make money and if you don't tip, don't go there! The job involves separating men from their money. They will do it. Often the bartender will not just spot a mark but will even tell a girl which pocket his money was in. This was eons ago but I still can recall the night I was in a strip club in Boston's Combat Zone: I overheard one bartender (female) tell a girl "he has six hundred dollar bills in his left inside pocket, I'll go stand in front of him" ... and then the bartender came and wiped the bar in front of me. With a sudden realization that I was the mark, I gulped my drink and left.

That can happen anywhere for a variety of reasons.
Did he offend someone as he entered the lot? Once inside the club they wouldn't know which car was his. It may have been random or it may have been that he failed to tip.

We tried getting a private stripper the last time we were in Vegas, we wound up with a hookers who didnt want to strip. We payed them the fee to get them up to the room, but then didnt get anything else. Its hard (for me at least) to find a place that actually has in call strippers and isn't just a cover for hookers.

That will be a problem. As everyone knows, prostitution is illegal in Las Vegas, so those in the business use thinly veiled buzzwords to advertise, like escorts, strippers, and Asian massage. That makes it difficult to find a legitimate practitioners of these businesses. Craig's List always has a bunch of ads for Vegas strippers, who claim that is all they do. Sometimes I get asked for a personal recommendation. I'm afraid I don't have any. If anyone can provide one, feel free to mention it in adult discussions.

not sure if he offended anyone but i doubt its because he failed to tip. he likes to throw money around. he spent about $40,000 while he was here.
They never really want to do it but it is better than them sitting in line doing nothing. One time I made the deal with the cabbie before I got in as always and on the way there he said he couldn't do it and didn't know what I was talking about. I said we made the deal before I ever got in the cab so if he didn't want to do it he could take me back where he picked me up. He changed his mind and honored the deal. ****ing cabbies!
Quote: clarkacalWizard, did the cabbie know you were local when you asked about a free ride? If he knew there was no cover he wouldn't be able to do it. Only once have I not been able to get a free ride or a free ride + cash and that was because admittance fees were way down at the time.
He did not. I should have mentioned it. Also, he was not exactly a cabbie. He drove a limo, but I think picked up passengers like a cabbie would.
That is odd. Usually people smart enough to have 40k to spend are smart enough to recognize the hype of a strip club and steer clear of such places unless of course they own one.Quote: rudeboyoinot sure if he offended anyone but i doubt its because he failed to tip. he likes to throw money around. he spent about $40,000 while he was here.

Maybe he just didn't give a damn. I find the atmosphere of mutual contempt in such situations amusing: the employees/servers/etc. hold the high-roller in contempt for his disregard for money and kiss up to him while loathing his guts; the high-roller holds those people in contempt because they care about money and he doesn't.
I've mentioned this elsewhere, but you should hear what gets said in the dealer break room right after they have dealt to a black chip-tipping high roller. No such person would ever tip again if he heard those conversations.
We did discover that pretty much any strip club in Vegas will pick you up in a limo for free and give you free cover if you just call them and ask for a limo. It's kind of confusing...pay for a cab and pay cover, or just call them and get a free limo and free cover. At least, this was the deal we got at Spearmint Rhino, and I believe the same thing applied to Sapphire. So the limo and cover part of the package didn't really net us anything, but again bottle service is bloody expensive. We bought a 5th bottle because we weren't ready to leave yet and it was around $500 (I don't remember exactly).
I had no idea Sapphire had a room with male strippers. That is interesting.
Ok...Maybe I've been to two, but I'm not sure...because I don't actually remember my 21st birthday.
Years ago a group of women were having a 'girls night' to celebrate a birthday and the birthday girl said something about being a stripper. Fortunately, one of the attendees was a dealer who knew a stage manager at a strip club and also knew that it happened to be 'amateur night' at his place. A good time was had by all.
