Harmon Center is a retail center near Planet Hollywood anchored by a Walgreen's. The first completely new construction project on the strip in years.

The 135-foot-tall center will also have $10 million video billboard that wraps around the building's crown. The 65-foot-tall by 320-foot long programmable sign functions like a high-definition flat-screen TV. It can display live feed video and three-dimensional images as well as paid advertising and video art. The sign, meant to mimic one like it in New York's Times Square, is Harmon Corner's signature design feature.

Facing Las Vegas Blvd, where do they expect the crowds to stand and watch it... Oh yeah, the gridlocked drivers and their passengers cruising the Strip will have plenty of time to check it out. There's already massive video signs on the Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile exterior. They crank them up extra bright at night too.

Harrah's Atlantic City seems like a logical step for Harrah's Las Vegas.

It looks great from far away, but I wonder what it looks like inside the rooms when the light show is going on? I know that rooms a the Four Queens that face the Fremont Experience get blasted with light AND the rock and the roll.

There are some digital billboards that overlook the highway. I personally think they are a hazardous distraction. They are so bright at night that driver's eyes have a hard time adjusting back after passing them.
