Could it be worth going to Las Vegas for the food?

Many people have been going to Vegas for these all day buffets simply because the rooms and food are so cheap.
I don't think high end restaurants are in the same position because high end restaurants tend to get higher income people are used to liberal comps.

I would never go to Vegas for food or drink even though those two items play a major role when I am there.

Its sort of like a wine tasting. If the price is low enough, you don't care if the wines are any good or not. They won't be bad so as long as you are sure to drink the admission charge you might as well go.
