I first read years ago about the possibility of a moon-themed casino coming to Las Vegas.

The notion seemed to go away, but it is still out there; see:

Seems a dumb idea, a moon-themed casino.
"What, me worry?"

I'm all in favor of heavy theming. The question here is will they spread...

?
Have you tried 22 tonight? I said 22.

If they're actually going to really lean into the theming I'm all for it. If it's going to just be another casino where the theme is "upscale" like every other casino that's opened in the last 20 years then who cares.

Here's an admittedly dry computer rendering of the interior. But look at its size compared to the Wynn!

Would you say awesome or eyesore?

No chance, themed casinos are a thing of the past for Vegas.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.
