A new trail video is up the Tropicana Flamingo Wash Trail.

Unlike all previous ones, on this one the camera is on top of my helmet. In the old videos it was on my handlebars. The benefit to the helmet camera is the video isn't as shaky because my body absorbs much of the shaking. A downside is that you can see when I turn my head. You may notice I look down after starting up after stopping at an intersection. That is because I'm also riding a different bike, with clip in shoes, that I haven't fully got the hang of yet.

If you pause the video at the beginning, after the street signs, you can see the casinos of the south Strip. Also, the big house across the street at the very end is where Michael Jackson lived during his Vegas months.

1000% better with music. It adds a whole new dimension.
Makes it feel like you're going much faster and there's
almost something exciting about it. I'm really surprised it
improved it as much as it did.

You need to carry a sawed off shotgun like Tex Cobb
did on his bike in Raising Arizona, and fire it in the
desert once in awhile. That would be exciting.

Makes a big difference, makes it easier to pay
attention to the video. I can feel the different
parts of my brain putting it all together. I can't
pay attention to both the music and the video
equally, so one seems to compliment the other.

New video is up, the Saint Rose Parkway Trail. YouTube has been coming after me for pirating music, so hopefully I'm safe with Strauss.

Did you you this music in honor of 2001 A Space Odyssey
because it looks like you're on the surface of the moon?
Except the moon looks more hospitable than this.

I just added a video for the Pittman Wash Trail. This one is not as void of anything living as the last one. It is a trail in a very populated part of Henderson. Lots of people walking dogs.

Not bad but this is better. Remember 'Escape From Bald Mountain'
by Mussorgsky, that was in Fantasia? It matches perfectly the
urgency of the passing scenery and the cadence of the walking
people. It's great.

Play your video with the sound muted and play Bald Mountain at
the same time. It's uncanny how the music matches your video,
it's like it was written for it.

Thanks for the suggestion. Is see that have that at https://musopen.org, and they have a limited selection. I'll use it for a future video. At 10:27 I think it was too long for the Pittman Wash Trail, unless I didn't speed it up very fast.

It has been a while but I'm in the process of putting up videos to the 34-mile River Mountain Loop Trail. It is so long I have to break it into pieces.

Here is part one, which goes from marker 34.0 to 27.0.

Enjoy.

Part three is up. Too bad Nareed is blocked; I was hoping she would enjoy the music.

The bridge over Far Hills Avenue is open for business. With that, I added a new video on the northern section of the Western Beltway trail, from Charleston Blvd to Alexander Rd. This is my first new trail video in months so please have a look.
