2+2 is a pretty good forum even though I have no interest in poker. But Jared Tendler posts there and I always find his posts very informative and his two poker psy books are second to none.

If nobody responds to a post in the forest, does it still make noise??
In other words, IF you feel someone is a sock puppet, ignore their posts. If they are getting no responses, they will get bored and go away. Of course, you need to be sure. Otherwise you will make the forum a cold place for legitimately new members.

KG was gone within 24 hrs of posting - missed whatever the first post was, but when he got active with the account in late Oct. His postings were crap, but the name was the nuke, along with the match to Son (which didn't show initially).

Fixed it. Same page error on Kerkebet's listing. Never seen that happen before; I just copy and paste the link to the permalink into the table, and I think I did both of those at the same time. I can't figure out how that could have happened. If the page number was erroneously higher, it could indicate a split happened some time after the url copy, but earlier in the thread than the permalink. But lower? Can't put it together with a repeatable bug track.

I gotta say though, when Buzz was first nuked I was all for it. Not for the going off on zuga but just the way he was in general. His last 2 names have other been completely different or I have become acustomed to him. He has provided some worthwhile info and threads and I haven't noticed him being snide with anyone. Maybe he had turned a leaf or maybe I am just used to his style.

I didn't read all of his mullys comments but the ones I read seemed to make him more likable. Maybe I have just finally gotten use to him after 3 years.
Such that a member here could flame, insult, libel and demean another member of this board on another site (GG comes to mind), and so long as they don't say anything out of line here on this board their comments posted on the other board would not warrant repercussion / suspension here?

We have no control or interest in what gets posted on another board. I don't know how that would be policed, and I wouldn't want to.
Better not quote or link anything like that on here, however. Depending on the content/situation, it would likely get the poster suspended faster than the person they're supposedly quoting.

Interesting. The first thing that occurred to me, at least since you mentioned a specific other forum, is that a lot of the insults that come from there are already banned members.
I would think that the things someone said on another board might be taken into account if they ever applied for reinstatement, or had others ask for reinstatement on their behalf.

He wasn't banned; he resigned. After 30 days, he can return at will, even if he never does.

him. I respect him for all the medical
stuff he's been thru. My son in law had
a kidney transplant 2 years ago and Alan
was very helpful with good advice. Shame
on some of you people..
