I have nothing new to say. It is well established precedent that you're allowed to be wrong here. It does not violate any rule to say the earth is flat, an invisible dinosaur likes in my backyard, I've witnessed 18 yo's in a row, or I win half my Tie bets in baccarat.
It is also not against the rules to say you don't believe such claims and to argue against them without insulting the original poster.
As to terapined, you are on a very thin ice. If you want to go out in the blaze of glory, this would be a good time.

Seven in two days
is probably the record as far as actual independent members, although multi-sock attacks by the same member have resulted in even more simultaneous suspensions, but just of overlapping socks of the same member.
BeachBumBabs is no longer a mod or else the mere discussion of suspension statistics could result in further suspensions.

I take no responsibility for getting that thread shut down. I was falsely accused of making it political and then got wrongly suspended for it. Oh, well... no point in discussing it now. We'll see if it's ever opened up again, because there are definitely some interesting things going on in political betting.

For a post to be kosher in that thread, it has to have something to do with actually betting the election. It isn't enough to make observations that might affect the lines, even if such observations don't betray your own side.
I make no apologies for the recent suspensions.
However, we can at least agree that closing it is probably better than what we had before.

Yeah, the reason it makes sense is because discussion of the odds sometimes bring in Political issues.
The odds of Biden winning literally dropped to near zero (barring his return). So mentioning that can easily veer into a political post.
Also it appears some people give political posts with impunity already so...

When quoting or replying to a post, the new post will put you last in the thread. If someone else has posts below the one you are quoting or replying to, those are right above but you might not know without scrolling up. I.E. you are automatically hop-skipped to the end of the thread.
for example, I am quoting your post and by the time I finish, a new post from Gordon might be added. If I don't scroll up, I will probably not read it or even know he replied.
Too many times I myself have been called out for something that I didn't even read because the post appears in the timeline between my replies. Especially in contentious threads. I actually got suspended when MDawg asked me to apologize for saying something to him and he posted I ignored him. I didn't even see his request until after I was suspended.

I see what you are saying. I guess I always just scroll around and look at everything before and after I post, so it seems odd to me for someone to just make a post and not look at anything else in context, especially after I have made a post.

When I'm on vacation or holiday, though, I take a hard pass on almost all of the forum, and I usually don't go back and read anything.
I briefly thought about cussing her out since I was actually backing up what she said but I decided to let my cooler head prevail and tell her ,"I backed you up and you insulted me. I don't get why you insulted me when I was backing you up. 😵💫 She responded something like,'?"I am so sorry. I read your post as you trying to insult me. I reread your post and see you were actually backing me up .Thank you and I am glad you were so mature about my mistake. 😀 I told her I ,"No problem, thanks for being mature about this yourself. " 😀 So, a lot of Posters on WOV might THINK someone is insulting them when they are actually backing them up. I think Posters who feel insulted should ASK the Poster they think are insulting them if in fact they are actually insulting them or the offended Poster accidentally read the post wrong.. 💡🤔
