Mr. V was released from his suspension one day late. We apologize to him. We will extend him a one-day credit on his next suspension, but would also prefer that we not be put into a position to suspend him again.

and that is pretty strong, repetitive language affirming a negative future action, with finality. Beyond swears,
"make a solemn statement or promise undertaking to do something or affirming that something is the case,"
I'd say.
Then again, we've dealt with people who have even faked their deaths or disavowed their soul mates said they don't even exist after making lengthy posts about marrying them, so, who knows.

Most of the time that's true. I usually know when there's a good chance I'm going to get suspended. I didn't see this one coming , I haven't any clue when the Mods are going to enforce the hijacking rule. I usually time my insults (Suspension worthy )knowing I'll not have much time for forum reading and responding.
Even when I was out in the boonies up near Leavingworth WA, while fishing, I was still able to get a signal.
I just bought a 35 foot Class A Motor Home and I have been looking into StarLink I should be able to figure out how to be connected just about anywhere I go.

Since this is ‘discussion about the suspension list’, the main thing I don’t like about being suspended is the inability to respond to PMs. Thus for most members no recourse on challenging/questioning their suspensions.
I still read the forum posts while suspended, and have a feeling of relief sometimes that I can’t respond!

I'd say.
Then again, we've dealt with people who have even faked their deaths or disavowed their soul mates said they don't even exist after making lengthy posts about marrying them, so, who knows.

The "importing drama" is a pre 2021, offense, that doesn't seem to be enforced any longer, especially when mentioned in passing or in general, and doesn't lead to any drama. 🎭 Or was already discussed here before. Along with the Martingale has also gone by the wayside.
Actually about the only person suspended for "importing drama" would be...none other than
and that was years ago when that sort of thing was still somewhat enforced, and even then only in conjunction with insults and other offenses.
Why not a new suspendable offense 😅 of trying to get someone suspended for something that is no longer enforced per the "new, more lax" moderation rules the Wizard has mentioned for almost three years now? Ah but that would contradict the "new, more lax" spirit of moderation.

I still read the forum posts while suspended, and have a feeling of relief sometimes that I can’t respond!

I think that's more for people who are Nuked than those who are Suspended. On the technical side, the Forum has no way of distinguishing between the two.
