I also thought it was ZK for a second with the “king” thread title but it was obviously not him based on the other posts.
So, you're pushing back at me for a suspension I didn't even issue, which was also plain. Ask whoever banned him why they didn't list it, not me.
Where this goes, I guess, is that I don't bother to answer questions in this thread any more, instead of trying to head off the shift into 1bb-type passive-aggressive trolling I'm seeing over the last year.

OK. It was me. I banned that member under rule 11. It was clear to me from the data available to moderators, that this was a previously banned member who'd rejoined.
The suspension list table is a resource, principally maintained for the benefit of moderators, especially for indicating when to un-suspend good members. I neglected to explain the banning of that member, because I tend not to explain away every sock-ban as a matter of course. I'll give some thought to the appropriateness of that tendency.
Other mods would have pretty clear sight of the reason. Non-mods who want to know the reason are welcome to ask, but explaining every moderator action is not my top priority in life.
My apologies to BBB for having to get involved.

But there is a suspension list, which ostensibly should pertain to every suspension, giving the reason for same.
C'mon, how tough would it be for you people to take two minutes and post the reasons for the suspension on the suspension list immediately after you wield the ban-hammer / suspend someone?
I never suspected that the suspension list was primarily for the edification of the mods.

Trust me. Not all suspended/banned* members get listed there. Absolutely not the UK kitchen sellers nor the IELTS and counterfeit currency sellers. Some sock suspensions are logged there, but some are not.
* I take the name 'Suspension List' as my clue. It's not the 'Ban List'
Actually, maintaining the list IS a chore. Two minutes might be a reasonable assessment, but it's two minutes of my life that I will give, or not give at my discretion.
If Wizard or fellow moderators ask me to give it more attention, I probably will: If they don't, I probably won't. Life's full of choices, obligations and non-obligations.

It seems that masking and abbreviations are socially ok but scream the F word would not be.

I think it's a nicety, and they probably should just ignore requests unless they feel like it. Or unless there's another a compelling reason, like a major uproar.

I'm inclined to log temp suspensions in the list as that does serve a valid reminder purpose. As time and mood takes me, I often, but not always, indicate reasons for nuking where a thread is left to persist. But, it's subject to my immediate time constraints and I don't think any mod is obligated to explain every action or inaction. Life's too short. I is, what it is. No discourtesy or offence intended. None taken from those who disagree and expect more from us.
Obviously, I am not concerned about Buzz since I like the guy. Buzz is going to be Buzz.

That was the purpose. There needed to be a source to see prior offenses, to enforce our loose Martingale policy. At the time I created it, I also defended it saying that I believe in public shaming. However, in the eight years since I started it, I can see that it has negative effects too. However, it is what it is and part of the fabric of the forum. As far as I know, no other forum has such a list, including DT.

Because you have learned over time Buzz is Buzz. But I have always agreed with you, the SP issue can and has been used as a cover.
You reside in a world where trust and honesty are paramount to your livelihood. And mistakes can be costly in multiple ways.
Some think it’s paranoia, but there are real world consequences to dealing with scammers. And sadly this site allowed one of the worst out there to come back under multiple names. A person who screwed or attempted to screw multiple members.
I get this site is not responsible and can only do so much. But the WoV saga is still a black mark on this site. Mistakes happen.

I'm really not sure what you have against a Veteran getting medical care from his government. After my stroke, I qualify for a handicap sticker. Do you begrudge me that ,as well?
I realize we live in different worlds. You seem incapable of finding that perfect place you are looking for, while I am happily settled into mine.

I was banned for swearing a while ago. I didn't know at the time the rules had changed to "no swearing at all" and was actually suspended in retrospect months if not years later for it. But whatever, water, bridges, gravity and all that.
Now I make sure not to swear. I did not swear, and I am banned again?
The person I was referring to in my post is a known porn star who's everyday life involves putting her mouth on penises and her tongue up the rear ends of fellow stars while on camera, if not off camera as well.
Is this just a "I make the rules" kind of thing, or did I miss a rule?
BTW - before anyone answers, be aware that a post a little more than an hour after I was banned speaks of making love to pigs using what some would describe as the most vile synonym for sex known to the English language, so I am sure no one would consider what I said to be "pornographic text" but this common banter.

Freddy is a preferred name for 1bb on other forums or wherever. So some people who go back with him or elsewhere call him that.

No. I did some creative accounting. He was due, if a full Martingale was applied, for a full 28 on the previous insult listed. I gave him 14 instead, because there were several people interested in seeing his picks, and the offense wasn't that severe. Even let him out a day early, with 13 served.
He thanked me by immediately continuing with the personal insults, so I revoked his parole, re-entered the full 28, and warned that the next offense was likely a nuke. When he returns from that, if he does, we'll see how it goes..

You see my point. The butt of the jokes wouldn't find them funny whereas the people who are not the butt of the jokes would find them funny. For example, a blond 22 year old girl orders a Margarita at a bar. The 22 frat brothers joke that her age is the same as her IQ number and the brothers all laugh. Do you think she would find this "joke" funny? I don't think so.
