So, I am a loser and can't find/locate my WoV password. Since I have been accessing the site with the same computer, the WoV site welcomes me each time but if I want to do a function that requires confirmation of my password (i.e. change any profile settings), I am out of luck. Is there a way for me to tell the site to e-mail the password to the e-mail account included during sign up? I thought I would ask the forum as opposed to bother the Wiz with a PM. Hope someone can help me. Thanks for taking time to respond.

I have 4 passwords and that's it.

I get pissed off at work because I have about 14 things that need passwords. At first I had the same one for all of them but they all require a change every so often. The problem is some of them require after 30, some 45, some 90. Now I have 9 passwords to remember.

My passwords are impossible to remember, far too clever, and lost forever.

That's right "impossible2remember", far2clever, and lost4ever.

No. I have 20 things that need passwords.
I have 4 that I use, that's it. That way I
never forget them or have to write them
down. Yes, I understand the Yogi comment.

I am surprised you only have 20 things with passwords. My password list has 97 entries and my most important ones aren't on that list.

We want to notify our community that on Friday, our team discovered and blocked suspicious activity on our network. In our investigation, we have found no evidence that encrypted user vault data was taken, nor that LastPass user accounts were accessed. The investigation has shown, however, that LastPass account email addresses, password reminders, server per user salts, and authentication hashes were compromised.

We are requiring that all users who are logging in from a new device or IP address first verify their account by email, unless you have multifactor authentication enabled. As an added precaution, we will also be prompting users to update their master password.
