Can anybody tell me the odds of either the player or banker, or both getting a natural 8 or 9 in baccarat.
Or put another way I just want to know the odds of a baccarat hand ending with a natural hand (either player/banker/or both)
I hope that makes sense.
Cheers

I miss-read the question
final answer
1,714,696,016,515,580 / 4,998,398,275,503,360 = 12,247,828,689,397 / 35,702,844,825,024
about 0.34304909733
1 chance in 2.915
odds against = 1.915:1

Assuming infinite deck, there is a 16*2 / 13^2 chance (18.935% ) that the player will have a natural. Same chance for banker.
The chance that player OR banker OR both will have a natural is 1 - (1 - 32/169)^2 = 34.285%. And I believe that is what’s being asked.
For an 8 deck shoe, that figure should be accurate within about one 10,000 th.
