In a 3 person seven card stud game playing with two decks( 104 cards) what are the approximate odds of player number one being dealt three black aces?? I tried a rough estimate and came up with 1 chance in 3300. How wrong was I??

There are 4 Black Aces out of 104 cards, so the odds are (4/104)*(3/103)*(2/102)=.0000219655 or 1 in 45526.

EDIT: I'm sorry I thought you were asking for it to occur on the first 3 cards...
but your Uno thread is basically the same question...

You are correct about my questions being the same. I am new to these threads and saw no response to UNO and had difficulty even bring my thread up.. they said I had no threads.. Any how I have had two reponses to the Uno thread one is 60,000,000 to one and the other is about 451 to one for any of the three players . My estimate becomes 1/1000 for any of three players but is 1/3000 for just a particular player. I wouild appreioate your recalculating based upon the problem addressed by two others on the UNO thread since they are so far apart
