The poster unwittingly did not make the '/spoiler' flag readable, and the result is that both his signature and the "quote" "reply" "flag" buttons have disappeared from view. (Well they are visible inside the spoiler...)

I think this is because the pagination component doesn't take into account threads you have blocked. That way, you just close the tab and you're back not just in the page, but at the spot you left off.
Some browsers do this by optional default.

I think you mean <backspace>, which is the same as clicking the back button in most browsers unless you're in a text field.

+1 The home key works but then I have to let go of my mouse. A button on the bottom would be very convenient.Be careful when you follow the masses, the M is sometimes silent.
