I want to see if my question has already been answered somewhere. I can't find how to search the forums by keyword?

At the top of the page there is a line of site links.
Below the banner, fourth option from the right is SEARCH.
You will then get a list of threads containing your search term

Oh, the irony.

I have found the search functionality to be less than ideal. To be fair, almost every forum I've been on has crappy search.

I often have found it best to do the search on Google with one search element being "site:wizardofvegas.com", in addition to the terms you are searching for.

Thet often points you to the post rather than the thread.

I've seen search boxes "powered by Google" in lots of websites. I wonder if that can be applied here...

Of course! I forgot to mention this advice, and I'll probably forget it the next time I need to find something. The last time I was on a wild goose chase around WoV, I tried to use the site search function and was about to give up, then I went the google route and the post I was looking for was the first result. Google is kind of amazing like that.

Why is that a problem? The post is part of the thread. If you are looking for a thread and you found a post, you have also found the thread. Unless I'm misunderstanding you...

All the boxes do is generate the query that Doc mentioned above. Shouldn't be too hard.
