Vegas Aces LiveStream -- 2:00 Pacific time
Wizard of Odds LiveStream -- 3:00 Pacific time
The topic for mine will be AMA (ask me anything). If this goes well I will do them more often, maybe make it a weekly thing. So, please give me some good questions!
Quote: WizardI'm going do my first Wizard LiveStream tomorrow. I previously did one with our own Vegas Aces, but this time it will go to my YouTube channel and focus around me. I will also be a guest on Heather's (Vegas Aces) live feed, but not sure what roll I'll play. Here are the times and links:

Cool
Should be able to check this out since I get off right at 5pm EST and work from home
1) What's your favorite game (not necessarily new) that you've come across so far this year?
2) What are your thoughts on the proliferation of sports betting across the country?

Thanks! I'm happy to take some more as a back-up, if we don't get enough during the show.
You could also bring the guinea pig...
I wonder if they would allow you to bring the "NSFW" license plate from your collection?
Gambling related questions:

May tune out at 530pm as my favorite TV show comes on, Pardon the InterruPTIon on ESPN
(really bumping this thread since show is just few hours away but stuck in the above comment due the no bump rule) :-)
Should have picked him up in part 1 to keep him quiet

Quote: WizardThanks to Miplet and all who participated! Sorry I forgot to bring those saved questions.

In other news, the topic for Heather's hour will be tipping and etiquette in the casino. Heather is a former dealer, so probably has strong feelings about it.
The topic for the next show will be things do in Las Vegas besides gambling.
Quote: MDawgAs a player, didn't really appreciate all those Other things, until started visiting Vegas without playing at all.
I don't think I ever did anything besides gambling and one show (Nudes on Ice) my first dozen or so Vegas trips.

Save me a google? Is this still a thing I guess is what I need to know

That show closed decades ago.
Here is the fun you missed on the last one.

I hope there were no nude men in the show - because naked men are at their. . . least impressive . . when they are. . um . . on ice.
Actually, on second thought, if this really was an all-male ice skating show then that would be TMI and we would prefer that you lie and tell us it was all females. "Hot Babes on Ice." -that's the mental picture we want to have.

Here is a mental image for you, Naked Boys Singing.
Can we be disciplined here for what goes on there?Quote: WizardAnother reminder to join me for my Live Stream tomorrow at 3:00 Pacific time. The topic tomorrow will be things to do in Vegas besides gambling.

Quote: GialmereSo what would you do on "Deal or No Deal"? In your scenario there are two suitcases remaining: one in your possession and one still available. One case contains a penny, the other case contains $1,000,000 and the Banker is offering $400k for you to just walk away. Is there a mathematical best play here à la the Monty Hall problem or is it merely a coin toss 50-50 situation with a tempting but undervalued banker offer on the side?
This has been discussed before, but you have to consider the wealth of the player. Let's call the wealth the player, not counting any winnings from the show, w. Let me ignore the penny and assume the other case has zero. He should be indifferent to an offer of $400,000 at w, where:
ln(w+400000) = .5*ln(1000000+w) + .5*ln(w)
ln(w+400000) = .5*ln((1000000+w)*w)
ln(w+400000) = ln((1000000w + w^2)^0.5
w + 400000 = (w^2 + 1000000w)^0.5
(w + 400000)^2 = w^2 + 1000000w
w^2 + 800000*w + 160,000,000,000 = w^2 + 1000000w
160,000,000,000 = 200,000 w
w = 800,000.
So, if the player has wealth of less than $800,000, not counting anything from the show, then take the offer, flip a coin at exactly $800,000, and reject at more.

However, if there aren't enough Jeopardy questions, then we open it up to anything.
Attendance has been rather small so far, so this is your chance to get my attention and be remembered for years for your participation. Don't make me beg.
Thanks!
Quote: WizardTomorrow's Live Stream topic shall be Jeopardy, especially Monday's show, on which Jeopardy James lost. Here is a link for you:

Since it’s not WoV, invite Nathan and Kentry and get record ratings.

I'll invite Nathan after she gets off suspension at DT.

Caught the 1st show
Probably cant watch more because my hours have changed
I switched accounts at work and my clients are mostly on the West Coast so working west hours now even though live east coast, 1130am EST to 730pm EST :-(
Quote: WizardI'll invite Nathan after she gets off suspension at DT.
Good idea. Nathan brings ratings, no matter the venue.
If you ever promise to have both Nathan and Kentry there , even better.
Truthfully I'd probably tune in if it's just Nathan.
Quote: SkittleCar1Thanks for hosting!
You're welcome.
Quote: MaxPenI would make it a point to tune in if you could get Nathan, Kentry, and Luscious Sweet on at the same time. There has to be a lottery prediction though.😀

We had varmenti show up yesterday.
However, it depends on the casino, the Hard Rock Vegas, especially during the time Peter Morton owned it, was very aggressive about booting BJ counters. They didn't care how little your spread was, or even if you were losing, I had friends booted simply because the casino detected card counting, any sort of consistent bet increase to the count was frowned on.
We could use more participants so please join me. The odds your questions or comments are addressed are very high.

Good point. In my defense, it is 6:00 eastern time. Heather does hers at 2:00 so it's convenient for me to go right after. Still, I'll consider it.
