Writers Needed
I am currently looking for a couple writers who are familiar with blackjack, poker and all table games to cover our brands in the LCB Network. Must be available to write a minimum of 3 - 5 articles per week and complete within 2 days after assigned. Experienced writers preferred.

I am NOT a Mod, but I feel that this being your very first thread is not a good idea. People might think it looks like a red flag spam.

I was trying to be helpful, but in hindsight, a PM would have been sufficient. I can be impulsive at times.

I’m not a member over there but I was wondering what you were looking for poker wise? Is there pay or is this a voluntary position? I was an English major in university and I have a vast poker background. I guess I could PM you here but I’ll see what your response to this is.

That has now been rectified as Avaj is now showing up as a Greenie and not Blue. :)
Avaj made a simple request for article writing.
We've established her right to do so and the rights of others to greet her or ask her polite questions.
Now the thread is swerving way off topic. This isn't a thread about videos or posting rights of Nathan or EvenBob or his cats, or who smokes what. 2 1/2 pages of that is plenty.

I'm based in the UK and have been familiar with many table games. I have also analysed many games (and posted lots of details on this site) and also developed several simulations. I should be interested in this kind of work. Are you looking for full or part time? No hornswoggling intended. I've said before, several times recently, we do NOT have the capability of merging threads, tacking errant posts onto their proper threads, or rearranging the order of posts within a thread.
I can move them to a different subforum.
I can split them.
I can delete them.
If I had the option of merging or tacking those posts, I would have done exactly that instead of wasting an hour of my life cleaning them out of one thread, gathering them in the closed thread, and cross-referencing them in all 3.
So please take your accusation and insinuation and stick them back in the apparently endless hornswoggle, nitpick, and poke-stick-thru-cage file you seem to carry everywhere these days.
Perhaps I should start charging you for the knives you throw. At least I could discharge my losing Stanley Cup bet. You never did answer how you want it paid.
What's the typical length of an article?
Will LCB tell the writer what topics to write about, or is this more "think of some topics in that subject and write"?
I guess we can all plan to click on the LCB site and read articles written by a know-nothing no-name author that gush about "how exciting!" every new sidebet and new table game is. Maybe their first articles can gush praise on Black Jackpot and Flip-It, two wonderful new entrants into the table games market.
The LCB site editorial policy seems to be that nothing that is written can offend any of the advertisers. It appears to be a stroke-magazine for the casino industry - a fantasy of what they wish gamblers would think about the new gaming products and a celebration of the small number of gamblers who have experienced good variance and actually win. Basically it is gambling "soft porn" intended to encourage its readers to gamble and gamble on the featured products.

I don't know but it did seem fairly fast between asking and hiring. I agree they may have found someone who exactly fitted their needs or it might have been someone here who wants to use their real name over there. They've been advertising those positions over there for over 6 months, and perhaps (even probably) on the bj site they bought last year. Who knows where else. Or who applied when.

Yep, they've been advertising those positions for > 6 months and they fill it within days of advertising the positions on this site.
So, either they hired someone form this site or avaj had someone in mind but was encouraged to advertise on WOV before making a final decision.
