I'm proud to announce that OnceDear has been promoted to a full-blown, non-secret, green admin! He has been a secret admin for about a year and did a great job and stomping out spammers and warning me of potential scammers and trouble makers. We're lucky that he accepted the job.
Please be nice to him. It is a thankless job being an admin as you go about with a big target on your back.
I'd like to remind everyone that it is nothing personal when we have to issue a warning or a suspension. As I have said at least 100 times, this is just an Internet forum. It is not the end of the world if someone gets suspended for something. I'm friends on a personal basis with many people here who have been suspended multiple times. We mods even suspend ourselves and each other. It is just part of the cat and mouse game, much like advantage play.
That said, I'd like to give OD a give welcome to the "green club" and hope you will join me.
p.s. It may take up to a day for the promotion to take effect behind the scenes.

As a former secret admin who also once got suspended, all I can say is, good luck. And thanks for taking this thankless job.

To answer the question. They have limited moderator powers and don't show up in green or as moderators in profile. Cannot see IP addresses and maybe a few other restrictions. Can ban but mostly reserve that power for obvious spammers. I mostly nuked kitchen spammers scum while you guys slept.
By way of intro, I'm English, and live in England. Visited Vegas once. I'm early retired, though ,I do half own a website as a sideline. I'm too lazy to be an Ap. I play mostly online blackjack.
I expect this moderating malarkey to be a thankless task and no doubt some mischief makers will goad me. All part of the job.
It's my intention to tone down my occasionally opinionated postings so if I don't argue with you, don't be offended.😀

To tell you the honest truth, I actually thought JB was the Secret Moderator for some reason all along until I learned
yesterday that Once Dear was the Secret Moderator. :P Kind of really strange that I thought that considering that I knew JB was a Green Moderator, meaning a normal Moderator. ;)

I know that JB is a full blown Moderator because his name is in Green so that's why I mentioned,"For some reason," ;) meaning it was strange I thought he was the Secret Moderator when I knew he was in Green.
