At this point, I'm going to refrain from announcing the site for a week or so to let WoV claims their existing handles, if you wish. Let the birth certification show that DT launched on October 24, 2012. Anybody who signs up today will have the distinction of being a "founding member."
One question: I had to click a box certifying that I'm at least 21. Is there an age limit on the DT site? I think we removed it here about a year ago.

Good point. The age restriction has now been removed from DT's signup form.

I was given special access, and had signed up a few days ago.
But because of the screw-up yesterday, I had to sign-up again today. I was still first, but now my date is the same as everyone else's. Sigh.
And congrats to Miplet. I sprinkled a few clues about the name, but Miplet guessed it.

I PM'd JB, and he fixed me up. He suspects my email provider may be completely blocking mail from the activation code provider, so that it doesn't even reach the spam box.

I still don't get its point. We go to the drab site with
no connection to this site to discuss religion, politics
and Gay issues. Everything else is done here?
So, the color shceme in the new board is depressing. Maybe it won't cause clinical depresion, but it feels like I'm stuck in a perpetual overcast day, cold and dreary. The name of the board, and the names or headings of the various sub-baords seem like jokes. Joking's fine, but not as the focus of a board unless it's a commedy or satire site. And I really do not appreciate pointedly excluding bisexuals and transgender from a certain area, not to mention using a slur to name it (not even as a joke).
And very seriously, the GLBT bashing's already started. "Neverland Ranch" is a name associated with a celebrity pedophile, for crying out loud.
So in all seriousness: pass.

Wait and see what happens first. The other site is
laying a goose egg so far, not one new member
today. It seems the traffic on both sites is pretty
