Hey all,

I live in central Jersey and am looking for cheap craps. If I were to hit Sands on a Sunday, would I have any luck finding $5 craps? Perhaps $10? I'd love to hear from anyone/everyone!

Probably not, except maybe early in the day.

I was there last night. Got there around 8:00. They had two $15 tables, one $50 table and two closed tables.

Nothing is cheap at Sands, PA. They are the only game in town and they are killing it.

Like Teddy said, maybe early in the morning before 11 AM. But they usually start cranking up table limits by 11 30 AM.

And forget about holidays, they think they are entitled to start gouging right at 10 AM.

Try Mt. Airy in the Poconos. It is basically the same drive from NJ and they have lower limits during the day and on some weekends.

Sadistic pit, $50 table is the only one available, can't find a spot anywhere else and while two tables stand idling. About 30 dealers are doing absolutely nothing at other games, go figure.

You can also drive to Tropicana where they have 10 tables open with one of the best crew in the business.

there's no 5 dollars Craps table or BJ table or any table games in Pennsylvania at all. Or at least I know, Sands, Valley Forge, Sugarhouse, Parx, Harrah's Chester all don't have anything below 10.

That's the second time I've heard that, however, if you're there in the early a.m., it's $10-$15!!! I'm talking 3-4a.m.

I should also mention that The Meadows (at least as of March) regularly had $5 Tables for Craps + Roulette and a few other games. $5.00 Blackjack is kind of iffy, but I would say they have it just slightly less often than not.

Lady Luck Nemacolin Woodlands Resort had $5.00 Craps, Roulette and Blackjack in a sample size of three visits. Only one of those visits was during any kind of prime time, but $5.00 Craps was still there.

Side Note, Somewhat Unrelated: The thing Rivers should really be embarrassed about is having the big screen Video Roulette Minimum at $5.00 and the little generic Roulette machine at $1.00 denomination only. Maybe not, though. While the generic thing seems to get no action, I'll usually see 2-5 people on the big Video Roulette in the early a.m. hours.
