Seems like good PR:
Guests who visit the players club booths will be made aware of a nearby, interactive kiosk that provides information about various gambling issues. Trained employees can also provide brochures that list useful tips.
Among them:
“Gambling outcomes are random. Play for fun instead of for the money.”
“In the long run, you won’t lose if you play with money you can afford to lose.”
“Don’t bring ATM cards with you to the casino floor. This helps you stick to a budget.”
“It’s not cool to borrow from friends to gamble.”
Wow! Does anyone do that. I can't conceive of ever doing that under any circumstances. It would be like asking the wife to procure me a hooker.Quote: JohnnyQ“It’s not cool to borrow from friends to gamble.”

Will they inform you, if you're too good and you cant be beat, they will kick you out and not inform you why? Gotta love these corrupt hypocritical piece of scum organizations.
Gambling outcomes are random? So now they subconsciously lie to gamblers? If it was random, why does every gambler lose in the long run? Random implies 50/50 odds? Once again hypocritical greedy scum casinos. They deserve the absolute worst.
And what the hell does this blanket statement even mean? “In the long run, you won’t lose if you play with money you can afford to lose.” Really? I have never heard something as contradictory and pathetic as that.
Im not sure theres anyone else in the world that has such an anger towards casinos than i have. Everything they stand for is a complete mockery of what a human should stand for. Disgusting immoral piece of scum garbage trash.
No, it doesn't.The MegaMillions and Powerball lottery drawings are random, but not 50/50, nope not by a long shot.Quote: ZenKinGRandom implies 50/50 odds?

You missed my point. Casinos are deliberately subconsciously getting gamblers to think random means 50/50
Put out a pamphlet titled You Can't Win.
Post signs on the machines saying, "betting at this level will cost you xx per hour".
Bottom line, people would still fill the seats.

I think many of us have done this under limited circumstances once we are already in the casino. I've borrowed a couple hundred from a friend at the table to get through the shoe instead of immediately going to the atm. Also misjudged a progressive slot more than once and needed to borrow/split to make it through.
This line is utter nonsense.
I fail to see how. Even the average person will occasionally wonder if a coin flip is 50/50 or not.Quote: ZenKinGYou missed my point. Casinos are deliberately subconsciously getting gamblers to think random means 50/50
Nonsense? Hardly. This is just another way of saying “Bet with your head, not over it.”Quote: rainman“In the long run, you won’t lose if you play with money you can afford to lose.”
This line is utter nonsense.
3) Thou shalt expect to lose
- The Las Vegas Strip was not built by winners. Even with good rules and strategy the odds are still usually in the casino’s favor. So don’t get mad if you lose. Think of it as the price you pay for entertainment.
5) Thou shalt not over-bet thy bankroll
- Before you gamble determine what you can safely afford to gamble with - as entertainment money. Stick to your limits and don’t gamble with money you need for necessities.
These have similar themes to the common-sense MGM guidelines:
“Gambling outcomes are random. Play for fun instead of for the money.”
“In the long run, you won’t lose if you play with money you can afford to lose.”
“Don’t bring ATM cards with you to the casino floor. This helps you stick to a budget.”
