I'm aware that the general opinion on the forums is that MLife sucks, but I do like their strip hotels, even if there aren't great gambling opportunities...
After speaking to many people at the MLife desk and the Mlife support number, I corrected an error in their website/booking process (which I have documentation of), but I have not really received anything in return. Does anyone have advice on how to contact someone higher up on the totem pole? I have already used the contact number on the MLife website, and all of the MGM Resorts website contact info just redirects to the individual hotels...
Maybe I shouldn't expect anything in return, but I probably saved them quite a bit of money...
Cheers!

Doesn't mean it's not worth a shot... Nothing to lose except more time :p
How much did you hop around? If you put in very little theo at every property, I could see you getting nothing. Remember, MGM is VERY property based. There are corporate offers, but by in large, your best offers will be related to your play at that specific casino (and as mentioned, they aren't the best at letting you know you have offers). The website (mlife.com) actually works now, so keep your eye out there.
Quote: ahiromuI don't have any contact numbers. That said, many times casinos will have offers but not send you anything (physical or email). NYNY is notorious for this. You call their VIP line (maybe just marketing?) and tell them your number, asking if they have any offers for you.
If it wasn't clear, this did not have to do with an offer or my play. This was a reproducible error in their booking system which they immediately corrected due to my bringing it to their attention... Generally speaking, my theo is miniscule, which also probably makes it harder for me to reach someone higher up who would understand the situation.

Let's be honest. U didn't save them anything
They have the right to change or cancel things that were posted as "mistakes"
Just like when airlines had a flaw where I can change the language of the site and could book first class tickets internationally for next to nothing. That didn't stop them from canceling the ticket and saying it was a mistake and wouldn't honor it.

Guess I should know better by now than to expect any sort of productive responses on this forum :p.

Sorry if you don't find the truth productive or to your liking
If you took the issue to a higher level person, say the CEO, and it was noticed that you potentially saved them money...you might have gotten a letter back and maybe even a little something. Still no guarantee.
You can still do that--report it to a person at high level--but how will anyone prove the problem existed? Again, still no guarantee.
You can be mad at the forum, but I would expect that you would get the same answer everywhere else...you can try, but you likely won't get a thing.

I have documentation that the problem existed and that it was my alert that got it changed... I wouldn't want to rely only on my word alone.

Precisely what I'm trying to do... So, I was asking for advice on how to contact such a higher level person.

This is what I mean by unproductive. Maybe I should have been more clear that I'm looking for advice on how to contact someone higher up at MGM, rather than seeking advice on what I should be doing with my time and uninformed opinions on what the company owes me. I'm already well aware that it's a long shot and that I'm not necessarily entitled to anything.
Quote: beachbumbabsFirst hand experience from 35 years ago. Young and naive, got hired as a bank teller. Worked 2 years. Found a flaw in the accounts receivable routine tellers used. Reported it to my supervisor thru internal security. Expected a thank you, maybe even a promotion. Got fired (only time I've ever been fired - traumatic) for even THINKING about ways to beat the safeguards. True story. Silly me.
Sad story, Babs. Though I've been in similar situations, it has never costed me a job. At least MGM can't fire me :p.
You asked a question, you got answers and opinions (what the hell did you expect on an internet forum?), and you got upset for getting them. Amazing how often that happens around here!!
BBB--I had a guy kicked off a job site because he looked at the teller's drawer. Somehow seeing a large amount of money made him an instant criminal.

I asked a question and received unrelated answers, unsolicited opinions, and now snark. Amazing how often that happens around here.

I gave you an answer. Did you try it?
It doesn't just happen around here. It happens a lot around the internet thingy. No one makes any of us stay here.
You really want to call MGM and ask for something? How about moving on and doing something productive.
Need attention much?

Summed it up perfectly
Im not sure what he's expecting.
Perhaps the person who gets you on contact with someon should get compensated as well?
Next time before you aler someone about a mistake, perhaps you should call them and let them know you can save them thousands if they are willing to compensate you for it.
As someone said before, all you really did was save them some aggravation.
