I sure hope you called and got your show tickets over the phone. Then the process is just like purchasing tickets. Pick them up from will call the day of.

Would prefer food comps instead. As a former fat man I must FEED!

Unfortunately I lean toward this camp of thinking, which is partially why we went to Vegas this past week. I'll probably write a bigger trip report later.
We got 4 free nights, 2 Premium LOVE Tickets, and one Boyz II Men Ticket for my g/f while I played live poker at Treasure Island. I may have only earned ~10 Tier points at MGM properties this week mainly while drinking their beer by just giving tips. I am definitely not the customer they want.

I was reading the developers forum and one of the posts from them said they were looking to supplement a Vegas vacation, not subsidize it, so they are probably getting pressure from MGM to change the rewards a bit. 3 rewards per 30 days (or whatever the limit was) before the change could get you 2 nights, a food comp, and a show ticket, pretty much a free vacation if you don't consider the cost of travel. If you bought chips and can do 4 rewards then you could stay for a week, and get some free food.
I think I'm just gonna end up redeeming them for weekend rooms to bridge the gap between my other offers.

The rewards are pretty decent in that they don't pull the 2 for 1 deals. Just don't try to get the 2 buffets for the price of one. Apparently I'm supposed to magically know that it means 2 people, not 2 buffets. Personally I'd just get 2 food comp vouchers, unless you really need rooms.

Yeah, this thing took faster than they probably ever anticipated. A good problem to have, IE, having a really successful app ? I don't see how this is sustainable but I am going to see more shows on my next trip than I have seen on any other trip, all thanks to myVegas.

Get one ticket to KA, LOVE, or Zarkana, and one ticket to CSI and that would take care of most of your points. Recent changes have made most show tickets solo.
If you pick LOVE like I did, I probably would recommend you take a hit of acid first...lol

And I'm just saying the extent of my expenditures at MGM properties last year was $20 on a VP machine and a ticket to CSI. I even made like $30 on the VP, so that was bad for poor MRI ;)

Unfortunately not. Each reward can only be bought once to my knowledge. But there are more solo food options as well compared to a few months ago. And a handful of "one free drink" options starting from 6k LP.

I cashed in for a Cravings buffet, MORE at Luxor, and a $50 credit at Monte Carlo and they are back on my list of rewards. It could be there was multiple listings for these particular comps but I doubt all 3 of these had more then one reward redemptions.

I got the impression of "once per prize offering", but every time they revamp the room policies though, I think you can repurchase those. I'm definitely not positive about this though. All this info I just got off of various forums. My g/f and I burned off 420k LPs by using only 4 awards between us (2 each), so we didn't have any of these issues.

I'm at level 53 and have started getting the 3500s as well. I also got one for 100,000 when the 3500s started.

Considering with the current setup it is over 10X better in terms of gaining LP per gaming chip cost, I would say never. :) I wish they would create video poker, craps, etc. though.

LPs = Loyalty Points. The things you buy stuff with so the thing that you should try to maximize. The longer you play, the more difficult it becomes to collect them. I thought it was a lot easier to get LPs at 1000/1500 per spin at level 145 or higher? Best to play less and save up to spin that much if youre at level 145 or higher. And play blackjack obviously. The game is definitely not designed to permanently give you Vegas freebies, unfortunately.
Do I redeem the particular reward the day/time I intend to use it, or can I do so earlier? Also, I'm assuming each reward must be redeemed in the particular casino hosting the specific venue.

You redeem the rewards on the site, then you have 30-90 days (I can't remember the specifics) to get to the hotel and redeem in person. You must go to the actual hotel you want the comps from. First time I went to the MGM trying to get a Mirage buffet comp the lady at the counter was like WTF are you doing, lol. Don't blame me if the 2 look similar.

I've always used the comps right after redeeming them, so I'm not sure, but they should be good for a week or two if I remember the information right on the comps they fill out. Since I was starving everytime I got a food comp I cash them in ASAP because I neglect eating all day to gamble lol.

This works out better, since I can redeem the comps and then sue them at my leisure. I prefer that over yur metod, if youdon't mind my saying so :)
