Quote: ams288That won't work unless you'll be staying at three separate MLife properties during your trip.
Each reward is limited to one per player. So you can only purchase one $50 Freeplay for each property.
So, I couldn't get one for say Mandalay Bay, one for MGM Grand and one for Monte Carlo?
Quote: GWAEYou can but I believe the TOS say that you have to be staying at the hotel to get them which means you would have to switch hotels 3 times.
I also think they require a minimum stay, maybe 3 days.
If you learn how to count cards and spread 100 - 400 in black, you'll get more comps than you could ever get off this game, and you'll make a little money too.

My GF has earned a fair amount of value she does it while reading, watching, TV, cooking, cleaning, web surfing, waiting in line, at the doctors , DMV etc etc. It's not just comps but also free play. She has gotten 2 days of comped rooms, meals a show and free play. she has 2.5 million gold coins saved and she enjoys doing it.
I believe she plays on her brothers account who is planning a Vegas vacation some rooms, food and shows will be all paid for. It makes her feel good she can provide all that for him herself for free.
Why even visit the MV thread if it's a wast of time?
*EDIT* I don't think the mobile app is included in this promotions
Quote: Gabes22Until 4PM PST tomorrow, all level ups pay out 3X the chips
Are you referring to red chips?
If so, then it's not really worth chasing - unlike 2x XPs or 2x level-up LPs (gold chips).

Let's hope gold chips come tomorrow. These tend to be bunched.

Not only to they tend to be bunched, but 2x LPs usually come (and are sponsored by) new rewards. And Allegiant fits the bill.
Quote: GWAEI saw on CET website that they have a facebook game where you can earn RCs. Has anyone played that game? If so what are the details?
I assume you are talking about Caesar's Casino. I have been playing there pretty much since it opened.
The only way you can get RCs is by buying chips; 1 point per $1 purchased up to $20; 60 for $50; 150 for $100; 400 for $200.
If you could get them through playing, then I can see a lot of people trying to "launder" chips into RCs by going to the roulette wheel and betting, say, 18,000 on black, 18,000 on red, and 1000 each on 0 and 00; you get 38,000 chips' worth of RCs at a cost of 2000 chips. The game has a daily chip payout similar to MyVegas's wheel, but there's no consecutive-day multiplier (there used to be one where you got 5x on the fifth day, but that seems to have disappeared).
The game is a push on dealer's 22 game.
My question is - did they get Switch's permission? Doesn't he own that rule?

I invented the 'Burn 20 Blackjack' game and they license it from me.
Quote: rudeboyoiDoes anyone know how this loyalty chip meter works? It locked up for 20hrs. After I played 2 sets of hands it locked up again. I was playing 1 million chips a spot at 3 spots. It may have locked up again after just one bet but I didn't notice until after two bets.
That's an Android problem when you download it from the Google Play store. iOS devices never experience this.
There is a way to get around it if you uninstall it, download the Amazon App Store (not sure if that's exactly what it's called) and then re-download MyVegas through the Amazon store...
I've been working (well, "working") for the past 3 months on getting as many points as possible to hopefully get 3 nights. As the time passes, my potential hotels getting more and more luxurious. I'm currently at 271,625LP where 2 weeknights+weekend at MGM would cost me 293,000. Or at least that would be the case.
Now they've limit us to a single night on any 30 day rollover.
I'm guessing the local travelgower (that isn't crazy as me) won't go hopping between hotels just to get as many free nights through several convoluted schemes.
Good thing *I* am this amount of crazy...
My GF plays both our accounts she gets show tickets, dinner and free play. She books herself the first and then mine following at the same place, they didn't make us move rooms.Quote: noy2222I think that at this point there's not too much profit in binge-playing MyVegas.

I have this crazy plan of having as many things comped in 5 days without spending an exorbitant amount of money gambling.
Original plan was 3 hotels (1 night at a cheapo strip hotel, 1 night Downtown, 3 nights MyVegas), all of them paid for except for resort fees.
Now that I can only redeem 1 night off MyVegas (the rest of the points will be used on $10 freeplay and either a buffet or a ride on the NYNY coaster. Haven't decided yet) it would be 1 night in a cheapo strip hotel and 1 night in a Downtown hotel (paid by a gift card, excluding resort fees) 1+1 night free in Silver Sevens and 1 night in a MyVegas hotel (probably the more fancy[ish] ones) for a total of $5 more than I would have paid for under my original plan.
Stay tuned for a ridiculously extensive budget trip report in a few months...
Quote: CrystalMathOops. I just looked again, and Excalibur and NYNY are 90%. So, I suspect that Lost in Time is probably 90% also. So, ignore the 92% in my previous posts.

It was an excellent use of my time. I design games for a living and I reverse engineered their games. As the most popular social slot suite, it was worth it. On top of that, I got to share the results on here.
For the average person, these comps are more than they will ever get from playing at casinos.

AGREED ! I've gotten to see a ton of shows I wouldn't have seen otherwise, thanks to myVegas. Top tier Cirque du Soleil stuff, including "O" at Bellagio from the front row. And Terry Fator, KA, Beatles LOVE, and ZARKANA too.
I don't think the redemptions are as good on myVegas currently as they used to be, but free is free. It makes my trips to Vegas a lot better.
Quote: djatcare you sure shaq didn't invent it?
Right now there is a "Party with Shaq" redemption at a Nightclub in Paris. And as it turns out, I'll be in Vegas that day. The myVegas details are a little vague, but I envision a big nightclub and a glimpse of Shaq. So, I WON'T be partyin' with Shaq. For less redemption points (208K vs 250K), I can go see a Cirque du Soleil show again.
Quote: JohnnyQRight now there is a "Party with Shaq" redemption at a Nightclub in Paris.
Which is, "General admission entrance for two to the special myVegas event hosted by Shaquille O'Neal on Saturday 6/27 at 8 PM" plus "2 beverages, passed hors d'oeuvres, a myVegas swag item, and a chance to win prizes." However, it is currently sold out, although I don't know if that's just a daily limit or not.
And why would it be at Paris, which is a Caesar's property?

- I don't know, but.....
- I assume the Chateau Nightclub is operated independently of CZR, but it happens to be in the Paris Casino, at least according to Mr. Google:
"Chateau Nightclub & Gardens is located at Paris Las Vegas at 3655 Las Vegas Boulevard South".
What a great machine.
No side games.
Set it up for 500 spins and it spins 500 times
Quote: JohnnyQAnyone else finding it harder than normal to find availability for any decent rewards ? I thought they re-stocked at 10 AM EST.....
Apparently, as of sometime around the start of 2015, the reset time is no longer universally at 10 AM Eastern. I assume this is to prevent everybody vulturing the game at that time. The reset times are now pretty much random, and may be different for different items.
I'm pretty sure the Mandalay Bay One Dinner Buffet without room requirement was sold out at noon Eastern on 5/30, but had some available at 6:30 PM.

And that actually seems fair ! I have seen so many shows thru myVegas that I am now dipping the bottom of the barrel and need 1 more redemption for Cris Angel.

FWIW, mon ami Gabi, whatever the Candy Factory has become, the French bakery, Gordon Ramsay, and the Chateau, as well as the Asian tapas (what is the word for a place that sells almost all Asian dim sum, egg rolls, other appetizers? Tapas is descriptive but Spanish.)place, all of them are contractors, probably some of the others in Paris as well.
Thanks
Quote: AussieI've been racking up the yellow chips on this for a while now and will probably use them some time next year. Can someone tell me whether you can combine room awards for the one stay? For example, can I buy a midweek comp award for a Thursday night stay and then buy a weekend comp award at the same property for the Friday night?
Apparently, as of April 1, no, you can't - except (I think) for Station hotels.
My 3 freebies
Ka ticket
Zarkana ticket
MGM dinner buffet
KA, my 1st cirque show ever. Quite impressive and a lot of fun. Very entertaining. Never boring. I really liked the music.
The big star of the show, the moveable stage. What an engineering feat. Up down verticle horizontal, amazing. They were very creative in using this moveable stage in a lot of different ways.
Hit up the Buffet after the show. Great buffet. That's what I live about vegas, I'm a buffet freak, prime rib and crab legs every night.
Zarkana, my 2nd cirque show. Again loved it. Some really unique entertaining acts. The music rocked. Its so well done, the music and the singing is spot on, sometimes I was wondering If I was listening to a soundtrack and the players were lip synching. A lot of the music reminds me of Pink Floyds Great gig in the Sky, especially the singing.
Overall loved the cirque shows, and free, cant beat that.
I was a little worried because it seems these shows are always available while O and Love very tough to get.
No worries, its great that these entertaining shows are easy tickets on myvegas.

I loved what I saw of Ka. The stage was definitely a big part of the awe factor but the storyline, while loose, was easy to follow (comic book style) and the music was intense (heavy on drums which most cirque shows are more ethereal). I didn't get to see the finale of the show... It might have been my favorite Cirque show that I've seen except that I was in the audience the night that the female performer fell. :( :( That was pretty traumatic. I don't think I can go back to watch it again just to find out how it ends. It already has a pretty finite ending in my mind. (What made an already traumatic event worse were the drunk asshats in the audience making really unkind comments as we all left the theater.)
I thought Zarkana was ok. I think we got these tickets free from MyVegas. We also saw O free with MyVegas. For me, O didn't live up to all of the hype. It actually almost put me to sleep! Too much dream scape imagery and music-box score. Beatles Love was another show I really liked. That was my first Cirque show in 15+ years (saw Mystere in the 90s). We got seats way up near the very top of the auditorium. I loved how the theater was in the round and you can see so much of it from up high. Would have been nicer to be a tad bit closer still in the upper tier but we got really up close viewing up the voluminous costuming of the high acrobats whose wire rig tracks were about 10 feet from us.
I think my next free MyVegas/Cirque show, we're going to try for Zumanity. Pretty sure that's the only offering that we haven't seen yet.
My favorite MyVegas buffet has been Aria followed by Bellagio and Mirage. I've been playing and redeeming since Dec 2012 and it's been kind of a bummer seeing the catalog deteriorate in quality and increase in point cost. At this point, I don't know if I'll ever be able to use up my points on anything that's of value to me... maybe the 500k Royal Caribbean Cruise reward will be useful one day. With my luck, it'll be gone just before I decide to do pull the trigger, haha!

BEATLES LOVE is my favorite Cirque show, and I've seen it several times thanks to myVegas. I usually much prefer the premium seating up close, but for this show, when we sat up high, the perspective seeing the aerial acrobats was very cool.

I was little underwhelmed by ZUMANITY. Some of the acts are very well done and artistic, but I thought they went to pulling up audience members onto stage a couple too many times. Once was funny. 2nd and 3rd times felt like filler.
Early on, we saw TERRY FATOR through myVegas and that is also a show I recommend. It would be nice IF myVegas could continue to offer decent show tickets.

I don't have high expectations for Zumanity so will go in with middle-of-the-road attitude and hopefully it'll be better than that. ;) I really liked Absinthe for really raunchy humor (goes way beyond bawdy!) and very adult subjects. This show is also in the round but in a much smaller and more intimate venue (german spiegel tent). We had 2nd row seats which were awesome but I did feel a bit nervous when the roller skating couple was on stage... my worst-case-scenario alarms were ringing, haha!
I don't think I could convince hubby to come watch Terry Fator with me. I'm game for just about whatever (especially if it's free) but I had to convince him to come with me to his first Cirque show (luckily he really liked Love, too, even though Beatles were before his time). He's still not a "show" kind of guy.
I'd like to see MJ One but waiting for a really great discount. I was never a huge MJ fan but I'm sure it would still be enjoyable. Not holding my breath that the tickets will show up free on MyVegas. I did see the pretty recent 3million VIP backstage reward for it, though!
Purpose of this post however is that the offers in the Hippodrome in London look very, very good. 50 pounds in "super odds" chips, which I assume is freeplay for 37,500 gold. 10 pounds in slot match play for 7,500. etc.
A 25 pound food and drink credit is a pretty reasonable 18,750. So if you are near London, free money.
With over 1,000,000 gold, AxelWolf and his GF might even think about taking a heavily discounted vacation, supposing you can take the offers as many times as you want.
You need to use a VPN to see and get all of the other offers. I'm not sure if you're locked in as a local now, but I'm sure you can start fresh with a significant others account.Quote: RigondeauxI've been messing with this. Originally I found MyVegas, but she wasn't really interested until I set her up an account, built it up a bit and got her MV friends on the Facebook chip sharing thing. Then she took over and I haven't played since. Occasionally she has me press this button or that button.
My GF has over 3.5 million in gold between our accounts and we have used quite a bit already. You could get Mayweather / Berto tickets, Air fair credit, a wedding, and other stuff. She was just telling me we can go to Orlando for free (I haven't been to Disney World yet).
She has helped family members build up their accounts to get them rolling, since It's not very fun at the beginning working with limited options and chips.
She found some other rewards programs playing games and stuff like trivia, family feud(we will play that together while eating lunch sometimes, I enjoy FF) that she gets like $25 a week in gift-cards for Amazon, Walmart, target , Starbucks, Ebay, movies, Groupon, restaurants and much more. She seems to really like doing it.
I seen a few other rewards programs that I should investigate. There's a local one, I heard some guys were making $200 to $300 a month going to local places and getting free coffee and stuff.
All of it it doesn't seem to take much time because she does it while doing other stuff or while I'm driving, waiting in lines, at appointments, watching tv, in casinos, running on the treadmill etc. She figured it all out by trial and error, so I'm sure she is missing some good tips and tricks that could maximize her value and efficiency, but it may ruin it for her. She doesn't like me taking over stuff or telling her she's doing it wrong. I'll get the old, "If your so good at it, do it yourself"
I'm sure shes open to something that adds value. I imagine there's auto programs or something that ramps up your efforts?
Agreed ! I haven't seen any of the double-up points days for what seems like forever.Quote: AxelWolf

With 50-ish myVegas "friends", the daily bonus gets 500 % more. That's nice when that spin hits on the 1000 gold. That is about the extent of the extra things I do to "ramp up" my rewards.Quote: AxelWolf

Apparently MV gives you something extra for bold(wrong) plays. There's a meter or something that pops up and the the double/split buttons twinkles.
She was asking about doubles and splits that are close either way(I gave a few examples). I don't know what this extra stuff is worth, and I hate encouraging bad strategy play, even if it's just free chips. However, It may be worth considering.
Has anyone factored this in and come up with a list of hands it may be worth varying from basic strategy? If not, is anyone up for investigating and coming up with a list?
