Keyser, yes the website has a demo and all of the rules of play. There was a thread in the table games section a while back (im not sure how to link the thread in a post) that had a long discussion that you may also be interested in reading...

Actually, you started at least FIVE threads for it. Those threads are located here:

You must be really proud of those graphics... you display them on every page and force the reader to scroll down for the rather wordy content. I mean its a nice graphic, but its not all that informative and it is annoying to see it over and over again.

Good luck with it though. Let us know how it goes.

Is the Family Pot bet (available with two or more players) ONLY for the table minimum and not higher amounts?

Thanks for those links DJ.

Flea, the family pot is only the posted table min... sorry about the site graphic, i didn't design the site layout. The main purpose of the site was to house the demo for all to try the game and play.

At the risk of sounding more like a dullard than usual, why is a random, rather than systematic, selection of the Money$uit necessary? How would it affect fair gameplay if the random selection were removed? Also, I would like to suggest one addition to the "How to Play" section of your demo website, namely an explanation of scoring the cards for those who may be unfamiliar with Scat 31 scoring.

Anyway, I wish you the best for your January 6th launch.

Thank you for the well wishes and Congrats on the Natural Mini Royal, not many have hit it!

As far as the random generation of the Money$uit. Its just more fun that way :), plus once the game takes off we will be adding a Money$uit wager where players can play a bet on what they think the Money$uit will be (I didnt want to overload the layout with wagers at first). This will also be incorporated into the next version of the game, Money$uit 31 Stud. That game will be played with the same scoring rules/betting structure (Ante/Play and family pot minus the progressive). Players will be dealt two cards and then two community cards will be dealt after fold/play decisions have been made, players will have to use both hole cards and one of the community cards.

BTW those card ranking rules are on the home page... but i will consider adding it to the how to play as well.

Keep up the good work and keep me posted on your experiences. Hopefully soon enough you can hit that progressive for real!!!

Played around a bit more on the demo.

I have to say, it really feels more and more like, for eventual development of this game or 31 Stud, it would be better for the Ante Bonus to have bonus payouts for a Flush and/or Money$uit Flush instead of just adding to 31.

You sometimes get a hand of 3 Moneysuit cards, and for a game so named, this hand being a loser doesn't feel right. With an Ante payout for Flush, more hands would be playable, which adds to game enjoyment, and with poker being all the rage now, a mini-flush payout doesn't need to be explained.

You know, shortly after I posted, I went to the demo page and saw that explanation in the intro text and felt kind of stupid having jumped the gun.

No worries, Im just glad you are playing/enjoying the game. Your just trying to help...

Last night during the free play trial at the Augustine we had our first player draw to the M$ Mini Royal for the 100 to 1 plus the 20 to 1 ante bonus. Would have been a nice payout on his theoretical $15 dollar wager... Although it still wasn't natural like yours ;).
