100x odds on craps is back and they have good quarter video poker pay tables. It must be a trap where they are trying to sell us timeshares.

I think it's still Harrahs (Caesars, whatever). I noticed those games on vpfree what seems about a year ago. I've never checked them out. Pretty weird, I can see why you're wondering about them. Last I remember Irish people were complaining about the name.

I only mentioned it because I read today on www.Lasvegasadvisor.com that they brought back 100x odds on craps.
I also heard that they, along with Flamingo, have no vig 4/10 buy bets.
Note that Downtown Grand also had no vig for a while, got rid of it, and recently brought it back.
Not that anyone was asking for verification, but the VP and 100x was there two weeks ago. There weren't any big advertisements, just a small little note on the table limits sign. The VP has been there since it opened, more or less.
But, just because it is CZR, it is $50 coin-in per tier point.Quote: DRich.....and they have good quarter video poker pay tables.
Nope, I'm afraid you have Cromwell confused with EVERY OTHER major Strip property.Quote: DRichIt must be a trap where they are trying to sell us timeshares.

Really? It wasn't reported to VPFree2 until November.
The VP and craps I assumed it was a sign of desperation for Cromwell. The VP could be a weird experiment though, there are no DDB on those units.

That's interesting, I hadn't thought of it until you just mentioned it. Do you have a guess as to why? Especially since DDB seems to be America's favorite pay table.
Did you get your chips? They actually had a fair blackjack game in there. A few years back I mentioned to one of my friends/partners that was the one casino in LV I never been to. One Friday night he came and got me and said, he was taking me to a surprise location. Apparently he went and scouted it a few days prior and found the blackjack game. We were the only white people in the joint. It was mostly a Mexican night club, I'm talking zero English, cowboy hat's and boots, and it was packed full. I was wondering what would happen if you won 5k,how you would get out of there unmolested.Quote: DocAnd that same resource reported about the same time that a "wonderful and exciting establishment" known as the Silver Saddle Saloon has closed its doors. Will anybody miss it?
