Can you have a high ADT, for comp purposes, and a low TC, if you go to a casino for 20 days? I keep reading on TA how gold card table players have higher ADT than diamond slot players and that is why they are getting better comps, but at the same time they have been to the casino 15-20 different days. I just don't see how you can have a high ADT average for 15 days and still not earn at least 5,000 TC.

Actual losses you incur counts as part of your theoretical for that trip. It's possible to have bad luck and tap out before earning enough points to become Platinum or Diamond. Many casino chains reward losers. TR uses predictive algorithms to try to project the worth of players based on that small sample size. Thus a new player with a bad result gets sent unbelievable stuff in the mail while another player who plays a bunch more but unwisely spreads his play out over multiple days and manages to win or break-even gets comparatively little.

Remember, everything you do with regards to your player card, redeeming comps, coupons, visiting the Diamond Lounge, etc registers as a trip day. As the divisor in the fraction that determines ADT gets bigger (more days) your offers are impacted negatively. You might get a $20 free buffet but it might wind up reducing your coupons from $500 a month to $200 a month. That's a pretty expensive buffet. It's all a game you're playing with the casino marketing department.
