The gist is pretty simple. Randomly, the game will add one to three wild cards to the standard deck. For example, in the most liberal version of Jacks or Better, the wild card probabilities are:
0 = 40%
1 = 19%
2 = 21%
3 = 20%
The player must pay 10 credits per play to invoke the feature. Wins with the feature are based on a 5 credit bet.
Here is an example.
Here I'm playing 5-play Jacks or Better. The game tells me the deck includes 3 wild cards. You can see I'm dealt one of them.
I hold the wild card and two nines.
Two of the five hands improve to a four of a kind, with the help of the other two wild cards in the deck.
Action Gaming, who made the game, were kind enough to share their math with me. Bottom line is a light increase in RTP if you pay for the feature, as usual.
The question for the poll is would you play Wild! Wild! Wild!? Multiple votes allowed.
Quote: WizardWild! Wild! Wild! is a new video poker variant I noticed at VideoPoker.com. I think a Gold level membership, which I have, is required to play this one.

Here is a return table for 9/6 Jacks. Note they throw in some extra pays if you pay for the feature.

Five Aces | 800 | 0.000034 | 0.013667 |
Five 2's, 3's, 4's | 320 | 0.000070 | 0.011251 |
Five 5's Through K's | 100 | 0.000226 | 0.011322 |
Straight Flush | 50 | 0.000675 | 0.016879 |
Four of a Kind | 30 | 0.013275 | 0.199131 |
Full House | 11 | 0.015604 | 0.085820 |
Flush | 6 | 0.012534 | 0.037602 |
Straight | 5 | 0.019551 | 0.048877 |
Three of a Kind | 3 | 0.139441 | 0.209161 |
Two Pair | 2 | 0.109347 | 0.109347 |
Jacks or Better | 1 | 0.224697 | 0.112349 |
Trash | 0 | 0.464193 | 0.000000 |

Did this analysis change the basic strategy for 9-6 Jacks VP to reflect the possibility of wilds, or was the standard 9-6 Jacks VP strategy used?

The player should use four different strategies, according to the number of wilds in the deck.

Interesting... double the coin-in needed,
up to 3 wilds added to the deck but no guarantee that you're going to get any of them.
And 40% of the time, there's 0 wilds added to the deck.
but to make up for that, you get better payouts.
This is going to be a frustrating game to me.
I want instant gratification.
I want at least 1 wild in my hand if the gimmick is triggered! (obviously change the payout so it'll be less than 150% EV)

Does it tell you if or how many wild cards are in the deck each play?

Yes. In the 2nd and 3rd image in my original post it says "3 wilds awarded." This flashes on and off, which is why you don't see it in the first image.

Adding a huge amount of variance for .08% gain for 9/6 JoB.
It looks like you need Quads to keep you afloat like in ddb instead of the usual full house on JoB.
What's the Var for the JoB version?
and What happened to the old days where a gimmick added at least +0.25% gain?

Yes. I plan to publish a page on the game soon, which will include that information.

Quads happen every 77 hands.

I was wondering who voted for that one ;-). If you do, I recommend Cleveland.

Having grew up in Cleveland I would recommend Columbus.

I chose "I should move to Ohio," because it was such a a completely out of left field poll choice, that it made me laugh and I chose it. 🤣🤭

Minor typos
Introduction: "The price to invite this feature is 5 credits per play." should be 'invoke this feature'
Rule #5 "The game does inform the player the player how many wilds were added."
Strategy
Strategy for playing with 1-3 wilds is still TBD. For example, do you still hold a suited KT and draw three cards with multiple wilds, or do you simply hold the K and draw four cards?
Maybe some of the forum members can analyze strategy decisions.

Thanks for your analysis.
There are 4 games at videopoker.com (with pay schedules following in parentheses) that are not on your page: Super Double Bonus (9/5), Super Double Double Bonus (8/5), Double Double Bonus Plus (9/6), and Super Bonus Deuces Wild (25/15/9/4/3/2/2/1). For many games at videopoker.com there are other pay schedules for Gold Members, and these may be added later; but, since this is a new game at the site, other schedules for this game family are not currently available.
