First time poster. I wanted to come on here to tell you all about my winning betting system to take down the house playing video Poker!!!
Just kidding. I actually want to see if anyone has a resource for a comprehensive list of variance for various VP games? I know WizardofOdds has them for many of the common games, but I've been struggling to find them for many of the VP variants (i.e. Multistrike, Super Times, Ultimate X multi line, etc). Anyone have some insight on this? Thanks!

Great first post. Welcome.

I list a bunch of them in my House Edge of Casino Games Compared. Of course, just square the standard deviation to get the variance.

Thanks to everyone for the quick responses, and especially to the Wizard, your WizardofOdds website has been essential for really learning and understanding VP (and gambling/casino games in general).
RE: the variance of Multi-strike 9/6 JoB as listed above, Ive seen it posted on a forum somewhere else that its around 300, is that for the "regular" single 4 line stack multi-strike or for Multi-Strike Trio or some other multiple strike variant involving multiple hands? 300, or 308 which I've seen posted elsewhere, seems crazy high.
I have seen Ultimate X Single Line variance calculated to be 32.59 (think that was actually posted by the Wizard on this message board at some point). Haven't come across the multi-line variances of Ultimate X though.

Multiline Ultimate X variances are very hard to compute.

And if YOU of all people say it's hard, I don't expect anyone to calculate it.

So if Ultimate X Single Hand has a variance of around 33, that's actually pretty "conservative" for a multiplier game with a chance at a 48,000 credit single hand payout. Seems like most game with multipliers or other chances at higher "jackpot" hands have much higher variances (which of course statistically makes sense).
Do anyone know of any other relatively low variance (say <50) VP games with multiplier bonuses or other ways of hitting higher "jackpot" hands?
