3-line, 25 cent, 9-6 Jacks or Better

We make it to Vegas (from Florida) once or twice a year. A typical stay is a week (it’s a long haul from F,L so we max our stay). We’ve found that playing a 3 (sometimes 5) line, 25 cent, 9-6 Jacks or Better game works best for us. The EV is high enough so that our budgeted money doesn’t disappear fast. The variance is low enough that gambler’s ruin can be controlled within our budget. A Royal doesn’t put us into a W2G territory. We can last a week grinding through a lot of money giving us all sorts of comps (free cruises, freeplay, rooms, meals, etc.)

As everyone knows, the good VP opportunities are disappearing. Unless I’m missing something, the only places in the US offering our ideal game are (see VPFree2):

Also Emerald Island in downtown Henderson. Highest denom is nickels, but you can bet up to 30 coins per line according to vpfree2.

In general for multi line play, 8/5 Bonus is the new 9/6 Jacks.

E.I. is a low roller paradise. Ridiculously easy comps including some same day cash back and great food.
