I was a Hollywood Casino Charles Town this past week, and found one of the few video poker machines in the casino. For those who haven't been, Charles Town has 5000 VLT machines, but I'd say there are no more than 20 of the video poker variety. I saw they offered Bonus Poker, but on closer inspection, the payouts were as follows: 800/50/80/40/25/8/5/4/3/1/1 - they got rid of the 2 for 1 on for two pair, yielding a whopping 86.3% return for the machine. I know, technically a VLT can be set differently, but I doubt it would be set any higher at Charles Town - As of 2009, the payout for the entire casino averaged 89%.

Has anyone seen a worse pay out schedule? Typically the bad ones are still in the 93-95% range.

I claim that I saw an 84.3% Sevens and Joker Wild game in Macau. However, somebody wrote to me recently, saying the full house should pay 3 instead of 2. That would bring it up by 2.2%. I have never seen this game anywhere else.

That BP GAME table is quite common in Nevada, but the pay table is usually 10/8 and not the 8/5 that one you saw pays. I can't play it because of the even money return for 2 pair.

Not to hijack but about 20 years ago my wife and I were driving from Vegas to Reno and stopped at some little one casino town (it may have actually had 2 or 3) and she liked to play video keno. The had the same "wand" machines we were used to seeing in Vegas, and the payouts for 2,3 and 4 spots were the same as in Vegas...but the 5 spot, which payed $202.50 in vegas.....only paid $25! I told my wife to only play 4 spots lol....what a rip off!
