Rob Singer Redux
It’s a story that some in the AP community are inclined to believe or consider possible. You stated your opinion on his “system” claims after your interview with him years ago. So you kind of gave him relevant exposure then, maybe you should do it again.
As he claims there “may” still be machines out there, it could be a legitimate gambling story.
Other than giving him publicly, what is the downside?
That said, I’m not sure he can “prove” anything. Maybe an off camera interview to determine if you see the story as worthwhile.
I say this with no opinion either way and dislike the “Singer” character, but would love to hear your take on it as a universally respected gambling expert.

No from the Kane and Nestor story, it’s obvious it happened. I’m more interested the Wizard trying to get a take on it from his perspective as an expert in the industry. I’m not sure anyone could get the truth out of “Singer”, but his opinion (The Wizard) would hold weight. And I’m not sure the Wired writer knew the subject matter they were reporting on. Taking Singer out of it, it’s one of the top Gambling stories of our time.

That’s a jewelry guy from Philly. And it’s “I hate Steven Singer”. It’s his ads saying other jewelry stores hate him because his prices are so low.

Ok that makes sense. I was going to refer back to them if for some reason you didnt know about. I was almost involved with that in PA. Luckily i was not as it ended poorly in PA.
I don't think we could ever trust a RS story and even with the wizard talking to him I dont think that I would believe it either way.

The Wired story didn’t tell the entire story and as far as I know was never told in its entirety by a legitimate Gambling expert. Perhaps some want it that way but Mike has never shied away from controversial stories,
And if Singer is lying on this, the story will only make him look worse, if possible.
I'm almost certain if Rob did play this, there has to be a way he can prove this claim with some effort.

The how and why has been discussed in great detail already via multiple sources.
I'm fairly certain if Max wanted to know something of value he would contact that person privately.
I would tend to think Drich wouldn't give up the location of a current machine with a double up bug.
So I'm not sure what you're getting at with this comment.

This isn't the first time he mentioned some of these machines being found within the last few years, if I recall correctly, he even mentioned the general small location. I actually went back and changed it to half joking instead of just joking because of course he was half serious. Personally I'd like to know if anybody was hammering it and why or how it was found. I'm curious as if there's someone actively looking to shut these down for some reason or if there's a serious group of people out looking for them. Obviously, I don't want that discussed here in the open and those are just a few things that come to mind.

To put it into perspective, there was a thread started a few years ago about a blackjack surrender bug. The person didnt want to give away its location.
It took me one hour to figure out where it most likely was and another day to confirm it.
Maxpen and DRich have already given out too much info (which even Axel admits)
Which is my point. They are fast to criticize others for doing it but when they do it then its just a joke (except its not)
There are some very old machines out there. In the Sneak and Peek thread we're talking about a video poker from the 1990's still on the casino floor in Nevada.
