Hello, I'm wondering if there is an app/program that can generate printable strategy charts based on how the paytable changes as the jackpot for a royal increases? I have the wiz poker app which lets you change the paytable and will correct you on the game, but I'm looking for a sheet that I can print out and bring to the casino until I get comfortable with the strategy changes. The games I am looking at in particular are 9/7 Double Bonus, NSU, and different pay schedules of Jack's or Better.

Thank's

I'm a regular here, but I lurk way more then I post.

To get you started with some feedback (others are better off at VP advice than myself) you could just set yourself up with some generics and print them out from the Wizards strategy app.

i.e. Print default strategy... Then go in and double the royal, create the strat, and print that... Then triple the royal, create the strat, and print that. You should be able to compare them and notice the changes that get made within the different values of the royal and make at least an educated guess at the appropriate play for the "in between" royal amounts.

I'm referring to the Video Poker Strategy Maker found here: https://wizardofodds.com/games/video-poker/strategy/calculator/

***Note: Do not look these up on your phone ON a machine as that could be considered using a device.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

Funny you should ask, Paymar just came out with an updated version of his program 4.0 I think, it does the work for you on increasing Royals I believe, it comes with a $59 pricetag. Ones that print should be easy to find they have been around since the 90s. There are even some free ones.

The best way to learn is to make your own strategy card by plugging in the hands and looking at the values. Something clicks and after a while, you will be able to play new games fairly accurately. If something seems close(you know it close because you have been checking values) you go back and check it. Knowing what hands to check is half the battle.
