Who Is John Galt? :)
Quote:I forget, is that RS or something? I cant imagine RS would be as childish as I feel TK is . TK sounds like a teenager. I would think he was young, if not I am shocked.
Logan was either Rob Singer's greatest fan or his pot stirring alter ego.

Yeah, just there's themes that suggest a similarity beyond thinking alike. I might be seeing shadows where there is actually a tree.
Don't smile I don't know who that is either. TK might think I spend a bunch of time following RS he would be wrong.Quote: thecesspitWho Is John Galt? :)

Mission laying down the law. I like it.

Sorry, just riffing on a theme in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Galt
Why does discussing cars set everyone off so easily? One would think a mostly GUY forum would like to get into such a rap now and then. Instead, we get generations-old comments about millionaires who supposedly drive beaters for unknown reasons, 15 yr. old Corollas, and other rice burners. WTF?? That tells me that gambling certainly does have an effect on what people can afford to drive. But think about this: it's been said that at the end of life, when people are asked about their greatest regrets, #1 on the list was that they couldn't go through life driving a better, more luxurious car. I don't or won't have that regret.

Said by who? No-one I know, or have ever read about.
Time with family. Time with friends. Holidays, trips and achievements. Asking the person of your dreams out on a date. All rate high. The car your drove? Never comes up in all the surveys I've seen or the conversations I've had with dying friends and relatives.
Still, at least by TK's standards, I've completed that part of my life, and in forty years time when on my death bed I can be assuaged by the knowledge I drove a good car in 2014. TK might not agree with me on it meeting his standards, but I refer to the comments made by the esteemed Mission146.
Classic! lol. That.'s good PR. I'm beginning to value you higher now TK. Keep 'em coming.

How do you plan to implement this bit of wisdom?
