I do get excited for 2-3 deuces though. This month is 5X points on Sundays and I've added $500 to my card so far and I'm way way up $$$ to boot.
Today I held the deuces and looked away as I pressed draw. There's an immediate expectation in my brain of the credit meter sound. When it doesn't make a sound my brain says, "hmm something is different". Less than a half a second later the JP music starts and I look up at this and fist-pump.
I got a fake Royal yesterday, real casino, but it was one of my hands on a fifty-play machine playing fifteen hands.
Here's mine from December 2013.
love a no brainer.
Quote: BTLWII don't get excited about 3 to a royal. Gives me a 4th and not the 5th so often it's not worth stressing over. On Friday I walk by a guys machine with a flashing candlestick and he's playing $1 single hand DDB betting $20. He held the AT of diamonds and the KQJ came in for him - $16,000 royal.

I don't understand why you're only on the 4th paytable with a 10 dollar bet. Why wouldn't that be a 4K hit? Not to look a good jackpot in the mouth, but how does the pay work, and what would you have had to play to get the last paytable? 20/hand?

I see so many weird pay tables on this site. My mind would be blown if I sat at one of these and I would be confused when I hit max and lost 20 credits. If the first column is $7 then the percent is the same whether you play $7 or $20

Presumably 20. Note that the percent return is the same (all payouts, including the top line, are doubled)
Quote: movieguy73whats the next column of the pay scale for?
It looks like the machine has a 20-coin maximum bet. The rightmost column shows the payoffs for a 20-coin wager.

Yes, the machine probably allows any whole-dollar bet amount from 1 to 20. The enhanced payoff for a royal flush probably kicks in at 5 coins, so any wager amount from 5 to 20 would have a 99.7% optimal return, while bet amounts from 1 to 4 would be shorted on the royal.

Yep, everything you said.

Here's another one of those setups. Full payout exists for a nickel or more here. But paytables are bad, this is the best one in that bank, 6/5 Super Double Bonus at 96.87%. They have Bonus, but it's not 6/5 (96.87%), it's 10/8/5/3/1/1 (94.82%). :(

Nice, especially the dealt FH on with 10x on 10-play.Quote: SONBP2Been trying to figure out how to post photos, but I guess I don't have the right website to upload them to. So the best I can do is create the following public links to the photos:

Royal Flush on $.05 DDB Spin Poker at Sunset Station last Thursday night
$.01 10 play DDB progressive Royal Flush at Sunset Station last Thursday night. Hit for around $95.
Was dealt 5oak (3's) and decided to chase 4 deuces... glad I did 😁
Quote: tringlomaneWith that paytable, it would be correct to do so anyway. Nice hits. What place offers pennies? The lowest I've ever seen is 2c.
Station Casinos out in Henderson have $.01 UltimateX machines. This was at Sunset Station.
My girlfriend's second natural royal of the day. She also hit four deuces twice as well. She's up 60 bucks. Why does she do this?

Were you vulturing these or playing through? Reason why I ask is you have 10 coins loaded.

Not everyone plays this game just for an advantage, and I thank them for it. Won another $40 today on UX. Helped cover my beer and STP losses...lol

That's a beautiful hit Jeff! But I guess it shows my greed - I keep focusing on the misalignment between the kickers and multipliers:-)

Just playing, although I did scroll through the other games and ended up finding one (Bonus Poker?) that had a bunch of multipliers left over. Played one spin at max bet, but didn't hit anything.

Shocked they offered bonus poker for that cheap. Thats likely the best game. 6/5 Bonus is 98%+ with proper strategy.
Quote: IbeatyouracesLooks like a combo of TDB and DDB except you need a pair of aces or better.
Anyone have an idea of the payback on this game?
Unless the left hand of the paytable pays better than typical DDB, I'm not even sure if the game would be legal in Nevada. But looking around JB's/Wizard's grab bag of video poker variants, it looks like it might be 5 Aces Poker. The paytable would be 97.65% if so.

Very sweet win, but I can't even dream it will happen to me; I'd be too scared by the $150/spin to get there. lol...
I normally play just 25 cent vp but I was losing so I changed it to 50 cent vp and after about 30 minutes I hit this:
Not only did I hit it only holding 3 to the RF I also decided to hold the 3 instead of the low pair (3's IIRC). Worked out well I'd say!
Only the second RF I've hit straight up - the others I've hit were much smaller amounts on 100 play machines so I don't really count those. Bonus to hit it while playing 50 cents instead of my normal 25 cents.
I kept hitting Full House over and over tonight but couldn't manage 4OAK. I also got 4 to the RF several times even when holding just 2 cards - a lot more than normal. I think that had something to do with me going for the RF instead of holding the low pair.

3 to a RF [usually] > 4 to flush > low pair
Anyway, nice hit! It's weird, some sessions you'll get a whole bunch of 4 to a RF, and other days you're lucky to get one 3 to a RF.
Quote: tringlomaneYeah never hold the low pair in a 3 to a royal spot, PB. More royals are more fun anyway. At least I think, it's been over 19 months for me now. Almost got my first spade royal, first quarter royal, and first w2g on Tuesday, but got the ace of clubs instead of the ace of spades. Ugh.
It had been 15 months since my last one and it's definitely fun. This is actually the biggest win I've had on a slot machine. I've never gotten a hand-pay before since I usually play 25 cent. I was playing Bonus Poker most of the night and couldn't hit anything good but was holding my own then I switched to JoB and was losing right up until hitting the RF. After that it went right back to losing. At least I only put $150 back.
Nice win, IBeatYourAces! Someone was kind enough to leave one at 10:30 for me on Sunday, I was about $0.40 ahead when I hit the Jukebox Riches feature (it's different from the RAtC game you have) and I hit the major Progressive (second-lowest) for $25. My only other decent play Sunday was a Wild left on top, second-reel, on Venice Nights, which means Top-Middle, Top-Middle-Bottom, Middle-Bottom, Bottom, for the next four spins at the $1.50 level. +$15 on that, usually you would do better in that scenario with 150 credit bets.
Someone else left Rock Around the Clock at almost eight, but it wasn't eight, so not good enough. Other than that, I'd been watching a must-hit where the Major was getting close, but never got there before I left the floor, always had someone on it, and hit at some point in the LATE p.m. or early a.m. hours.
It was TeddyS, OdiousGambit and myself there that day, might post a report tonight or tomorrow.
