Quote: Romes15 Royal Flushes in 1 year? Jesus... lol. Ran good indeed!
Yes I count multipliers as another RF. How much VP do you normally play? My buddy and I don't play a ton, but we do play VP an okay amount of the time. I've hit 2 Royals in the last year span and he's never hit one. Do you just play a lot more than us or are we short on our Royals? =P
Not that hard to hit a lot of royals. In January I've hit at least 9 RF's (3 on hundred play, 2 on 5-play, 2 on 10-play, 2 on single play), if memory serves. Oh, and 1 or 2 more on Royal Hunt (VP variant). Not including multipliers. Granted, I probably been running a little better than expectation on RF's lately (like +1 SD's to the right [guess]).
No idea how many I hit last year. In one 24-hour period I hit 4 RF's (1 on single play, 3 on 10-play)....although I did put through a good amount of action. Hit 3 RF's within 2000 deals of 10-play one session. Hit 3 RF's another day, don't remember how many spins, but about 3000 spins, probably half on spin poker (9 play) and half on 5-play.
*For a low low rate of only $500/month plus 10% of each month's net winnings, I can teach you my system. :)
$15,000 worth of AWAK.

Back in the old days, when you had to speed feed quarters or casino dollar coins into single line machines you could be working your butt off in between Royals.
Ya'll got it easy with these multi-lines.
AND we had to play VP in the snow and walk up hill doing it! Whippersnappers!
You run bad
And play mostly single and triple line I'm assuming
And as far as millions id say I play a solid 1000-2000 hands of ten line or more each day so that's the equivalent of 20k hands a day which would be over 6milion single line hands a year which should be apprx 100 royals unless I'm delirious from driving so far
What does single line or multiple lines have to do with the amount of dealt RF's one will get?Quote: WizardofnothingTwo reasons....

I have played my fair share of Multi line.
Yes I have probably ran bad on dealt Royals.
Based on the dealt royal cycle I don't think anyone in this forum cycles enough hands to get a true sample size and not just a running good total. I hit four last year last year but with an apprx 650k cycle I'm not comfortable with even 65 million hands without just considering it lucky
Quote: AxelWolfI think I have only been dealt 2 RF's in 20 years I have played millions of hands.
I have had my share of dealt royals but I still haven't had one on a multi-line game. I plan on playing a lot of 50 and 100 play in the coming weeks. Wish me luck on a dealt royal on those, it would be much more satisfying than on a triple play game.
Oooh reaaally? Anything good, what percentage are we talking about?Quote: DRichI have had my share of dealt royals but I still haven't had one on a multi-line game. Let's hope Bob doesn't read this thread or everyone is doomed.
PS. I have my protection talisman so you can't use it back on me ( I'll sell you one for a good price).
Now that I have had a few times and it's significantly harder to get. You're always dumbfounded.Quote: GWAEI have not had a dealt royal but have played less than a million hands. I really want a redraw royal.
It probably has something to do with the colors and selective memory, but I swear I have had 5 times as many red royals than black. I'm going to start documenting that.

Almost all of the royals on televised poker shows have been in diamonds except one in hearts and one in clubs I think.
Both of my royals have been in spades, which I called out before hand that if I got one it was going to be in spades. I'm balancing you out =).Quote: AxelWolfNow that I have had a few times and it's significantly harder to get. You're always dumbfounded.

Yes, you hold the A in TDB.
I'm guessing $25 denom. Yes?
Quote: teddysSee, that should not be a handpay.
I agree it is very annoying for 1k hand pays.

Can you say which state or casino does that for $1K?

Meadows casino in Washington, PA.
There is no w2g, just an annoying hand pay.

The more of those SMALL handpays the less they need to pay those workers per hour since the LUCKY winners are tipping them more
Alberta the penny machines locked up at $200 or more win.... all handpays .... lets say the slots jackpot people there did real good on a hour rate including tips

The times I get a handpay that is non-taxable (WinStar 4Aw/k on TDB, Reserve Casino in CO) -- I do not tip.

I did tip $20. My last royal I tipped $40. Probably should have not tipped yesterday because he was almost walking away before I handed it to him.

I feel I am an overtipper, but this I agree with. Just a money grab.
Same ainsworth machine had a meter move on must hits of 1 penny per 25 dollars which might be the worst I have ever seen
That's what I get for jumping in a must hit of 400 and 397 and thinking I was stealing money
On the 5x.... The dream... nice hit!Quote: Wizardofnothinghttp://i.imgur.com/2sClXFh.jpg

Sweet dreams...
1) Reason why I'm posting this particular pic:
So much full of win!
a) Finally got a decent hand on a 12x
b) Got the best possible redraw for every line.
c) All lines had a multiplier :)
2) I've never hit multiple quads before. (Bonus: One of them was a multiplier.)
another thing to check off on the bucket list.
and now for that multiple Royal... lol
Quote: WizardofnothingSo now we are posting pictures of 40 dollar hits?
