I hope you realize that in Baccarat both the Player and Banker bets are -EV.

Doesn't matter in this case.

Neither of the bettors are the house.

MD...you have been transparent in posting your itinerary, specifically when you will play.

How many Bacc tables are open at the Palms when you play?

Is there any reason why a LV resident...for instance AxelWolf...wouldn't be able to find you at the tables when you said that you would be there?

Because I wouldn't go looking unless invited.

Playing by yourself and then posting about winning on gambling forums doesn’t prove anything.

Posting the same negative prattle over and over without anything to back up what you're saying other than theory proves less than nothing.

I went to high limit and went first to the DD BJ hit 17, but she said it was a brand new deck since noon that NO ONE had played. I have an aversion to brand new decks they usually end up either really good or really bad for me, and I didn't feel like testing this one out again after how it went yesterday with a brand new BJ deck.

So I went to the same Baccarat table as yesterday, 300 min. The first shoe was pretty awesome, the ties were coming in just where expected, one of them that I won was a complicated six card draw where banker started with one, I drew and was holding a nine, and player hit to zero, I flicked the last card down so hard just as the waitress was bringing me a tea that she jumped back startled. I had to calm her down.

"I didn't mean anything, I just get excited when I get a good card."

I startled the dealer a couple times too, with the way I slammed the winning cards down. I bet a $200. TIE ONLY that hit too, for $1600.

The moment I sat down she said, "Fendi?" referring to my sweater.

"How did you know?"

I don't like to wear stuff that has any kind of designer's name on it. I wear pretty much only designer clothing, but nothing with the designer's logo or name on it other than maybe, the Ralph Lauren polo, and that was in the old days I have been far above Ralph other than maybe his purple label for a long time now (and Ralph purple label does not have the polo player on it, has no insignia whatsoever).

"Oh," she laughed, "I just know."

The first shoe I was doing really well, great streaks, hitting ties, and I was barely betting much above the minimum, I am sure I was up a few grand at least without even trying. But then the last part of the shoe was unpredictably random and I should have taken the dealer's hint when she said, Do you want me to shuffle? but I kept playing. Anyway, by the end I counted 16 purples - the same eight grand I had started with.

You mean, you won, and I didn't? I thought to myself, as I looked at her stack of chips that she hadn't dropped yet. I had tipped out at least a couple hundred in match bets X 2 meaning she had won about four hundred.

Next shoe I played small again but as soon as I realized that I was up I just stopped. I was about even at the beginning of shoe, then losing, but nothing big. This shoe had this LONG sequence when the doughnuts predicted the next hand something like fourteen in a row without fail, I mean it was a PERFECT two bank one player two bank one player two bank one player for the LONGEST, and as soon as I detected that pattern I was ON it. The dealer next door kept cheering me on, saying, Well you know what to do next! Just follow the shoe! After that easy easy part I started to lose some, so this time, I just stopped, before I could give more back. After commission and everything I won 710. I paid off the marker and told her I'd be back later. She assumed I meant later today, but I meant...tomorrow. What's the hurry?

Is 710 anything? Actually no, it's nothing for a 300 min. table, but still - it adds up, and chances are one of these days I will hit a big run and win big, and in the meantime, the total win for the trip is around four grand. Anything in the plus column is all MDawg looks for.

Tomorrow have some business to attend to regarding our office building escrow. There's more to Vegas than gambling!

Is it hard for me to play just a little and stop? Hellll no.

I did have a conversation with the pit boss about how much TIME I get for playing Baccarat. I mentioned to him how most of the casinos give you an hour per shoe, whether you race through it or drag it out for hours.

"Well, no" he explained, "it depends on how many hands per shoe you play. If you play like ten hands a shoe, I'm not giving you actual time for your play. I'm going to give you more like two minutes per hand."

"Well, what about me?"

"You play almost every hand. I'm giving you actual time."

I was about to say, that's still not right, I play an entire shoe, betting most every hand in twenty to thirty minutes, I should get a full hour credit per shoe, but, I didn't say anything more. At least I know how this pit boss does it.

Along the way the dealer was commenting on the waitress.

"Isn't she beautiful?"

Of course I agreed. She was, in an innocent kind of way. I do like thin women, I've never been into any girl who wasn't rail thin. I also do like the more innocent looking types. But, I'm here to play Baccarat not flirt with cocktail waitresses. My wife blows away any of these girls. However I will say that Palms has some beautiful servers, while for the most part many of the other casinos seem to have gone downhill over the years as to their eye in picking beautiful ones. Does anyone agree with me on the decline? Is the decline because of a strong union that is keeping the older servers in their jobs, or simply because all the hot girls nowadays want to be...Instagram models so the pool of beautiful candidates for cocktail server jobs has diminished?

All good, now what to do with the rest of Sunday?

MDawg's four grand + in winnings so far.

I just like to make it look real, it seems paltry, and it is pretty paltry I mean I'd never work nine days to make just four grand, but the point is that I AM here, and I CANNOT justify being here and gambling unless I am winning.

And at this rate it WILL add up. (If enough of you keep wishing me luck. THANK YOU HUGO.)

Also seriously, when you go home the money becomes real. I try to make it seem real WHILE I am here, but it's hard, and the casinos are set up to make you feel like nothing is real.

As someone once said, the person who invented gambling was smart. The person who invented the casino chip was a genius.

Shouldn't be a problem if you answer calmly "I am TDVegas from the WOV Forum"

But maybe I'm reading MD all wrong.

I'll ask him...MDawg, can this guy TDVegas come watch you play uninvited as long as he introduces himself sometime during the session?

I'd start with $30K and win to $300K at the $15K table max, just one session though. How do I deposit that in Canada before I get back in the US though? Border patrol is detaining people illegally today, especially Iranians.

The casinos will wire transfer it to your bank.

Maybe I'm the only person here who read this nonsense sequence of events? You claim to think there's a pattern to be discovered and bet on, you care about the flow of the cards, and yet you had a 9 in the first two cards, and hit the hand? And then you wondered why the shoe went away after you were winning. Wtaf, over. If you DO think there's a flow, you ruined it yourself by hitting your Natural. Nothing "complicated" about it. If it's just trolling nonsense you tossed in there, even worse.

And then you have the nerve to go on about women you think are ugly. Yes, nearly all food, drink, and certain other groups of workers in Vegas are SEIU. If they couldn't do the job, they wouldn't be there. Get over yourself, please.

For the rest of you, I suggest you read this stuff strictly for entertainment, because it sure as hell isn't a winning strategy. Just a lot of superstition and Gambler's Fallacy jumbled into an inconsistent and showy fake system.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Up since 5:30am. I am a finely tuned machine, wake up early even when I don't have to! (Either that - or I am getting older. 🤡)

Soopoo you are an ANESTHESIOLOGIST. An honorable profession, but the MDs I know started BIOTECH companies and live next door to my parents, on a street where the most recent home sales have been over $20M. Even the regular MDs I know became SURGEONS and had over a million in their IRAs not long after starting their practices, and were seeking real estate development ventures with my Dad. You are risk adverse! You say that you wouldn't trade a 1000 shares of AMZN unless you had $200M in the bank, then you say you wouldn't wager $15K on a single hand unless you had $200M in the bank. You'll never have any millions in the bank, if you won't take risks.

I am not saying that it's a good idea to gamble large sums, but the amounts I wager and am willing to lose are insignificant compared to my assets, which is as it should be. I can take a full hit on all of my lines and it would not affect our lifestyle whatsoever, just would be a little less money in the bank. As it should be - should never gamble with money you can't afford to lose.

In general what I have observed is that the self employed are more willing to gamble than the salaried, as self employed are risk takers. This is not universal, I mean for every Kerry Packer who played big there is a Bill Gates who won't gamble a nickel, but it is a fair generality.

Do what you do, I respect it, but don't think that an anesthesiologist from the mid-west who is about to retire is the gold standard for what one should and should not do with one's money.

LOL.... we in Buffalo don't consider ourselves 'midwestern'! I do have millions in the bank, but do not take 'risks' as you would define them. Friends think my exposure to the stock market is a risk.
My point is that to make the stock market plays you describe, "I" would need in the hundreds of millions to feel comfortable. I think the most I ever wagered on a single hand is maybe $200?
Trying to figure out what laws the surgeons broke to have over a million in their IRA soon after starting their practice...... you know there are limits to how much you can put in?

I thought he meant he had a 9 after the draw.
The race is not always to the swift, nor the battle to the strong; but that is the way to bet.

I didn't see where he wrote that...can you show where he did?

I didn't even know that hitting a 9 was allowed in Bacc...is it?

The other issue is, does MDawg really win at the casinos. YES, he does! Or else he wouldn't still be gambling after all these years, because MDawg is very against any negative cash flow events or behavior.

For any naysayers about MDawg, this should put to rest any questions about whether or not he has been successful winning money in the casino. Straight from the man himself. we now know for certain that MDawg really does win.

You forgot the parts where he talks about how amazing and rich he is and how everyone he meets gawks at him in his expensive crap. You might be the most unappealing character this forum has seen in my 5 years here and that is saying something if you know anything about the Nathan saga.

No doubt he is rich, but it’s also as obvious he is a Lifelong LOSER in casinos.

Everyone of us on here, ok I’ll leave Coach out, understands he isn’t beating the casinos and getting comped trip after trip.

Total respect for being rich, no respect for pushing a BS narrative that he has found a “system” to beat Baccarat. He makes the Roulette biometric guys seem believable.

But he found an audience here and that is probably all he wants. Makes the losing seem better.

This is not true. For MDawg to consistently win so much money over such a long term, it is very hard to believe he does not have an edge. Given the results, it is a virtual certainty the bets he makes are +EV

Gambler's Fallacy is a fallacy, because of the belief that certain negative bets can overcome the house edge. But MDawg has shown that he is able to overcome the house edge by winning lots of money over a long period of time. Therefore Gambler's Fallacy is not an issue with his betting at the casino

Beachbumbabs: I will respond politely even though the manner in which you posted seemed to me to be insulting and hysterical.

I described a tie hand that ended up 0 - 0 , player hit to 0, I had a nine (in my hand) and flicked it down on the table hard to add to the total of 1 that was already there, to tie the hand. Until such time as she hit the player to zero, I was holding probably the worst draw possible, reducing my bank hand to 0, hence my great excitement when she opened her third card to hit the player to 0. On that particular hand I had bet bank and tie.

A two card draw hand. In case you don't know how this works, typically when there is a mandatory two card draw and all players are on the same side, or, as in my case there is only one bettor, dealer deals the two cards and leaves the one for the other side face down until the bettor has finished looking at his card, and says, Open.

There was another hand I won where I bet tie only, $200. On those typically the dealer opens all cards, but by request you may examine one of the hands even though you have no wager on bank or player.

Also in case you don't know, in the US Baccarat rules are fixed, there is no way to "choose" to draw and as you imply, ruin "it yourself by hitting your Natural" because this would be impossible!

If I was unclear in what I posted, that is my fault. But I think in general you tend to skim through my posts and draw what conclusions you want from them, such as in a prior post of mine where you seemed to think I was directing some statement or other towards the mods, when in fact whatever I said was not directed at any mods whatsoever.

As far as the rest of what you posted:

It's entirely about attitude and honesty. Other financially successful members come off less conceited, proud and self-absorbed. I think the biggest reason people get suspended or banned (which is likely in some part due to how the whole of the forum feels about them), is ego. People may be interesting, funny, and have lots of gambling stories to share, but if they rub people the wrong way due to ego it's only a matter of time before they leave. The other part is honesty. I think most people acknowledge you have lots of money and that's great. It's your continued pushing of superstition that irks people.

I too would like to know how Mdawg's surgeon acquaintances ended up with millions in their IRAs soon after starting their practices. The IRA contribution limit is $6,000 per year right now and was lower in the past.

MDawg, is it possible you don't know what you're talking about here? Or did these surgeons get approved for options trading in their IRAs and hit 1000 to 1 payoffs on deep out of the money calls/puts?

How much money MDawg has: immaterial

How much he wagers: immaterial

How much he is comped: immaterial

How many times a day he boinks his wife at age 75: Definitely immaterial

Does MDawg consistently show profit over decades including day to day play: Yes that is the whole issue here.

That is the part that no one believes.

Everything else is... immaterial

I feel it necessary to point out that coach belly has the tenses wrong. The questions regarding MDawg have very little to do with whether he HAS (past tense) won, unless MDawg provides a sense of hours and hands played in the PAST so that one can establish the odds-against. If he does that, then one can judge whether his posts are likely to be comprehensive summations of his gambling wins/losses.

Rather, the question is whether the mechanisms by which MDawg claims to have won in the past would provide any relevance to whether he WILL win or whether he is able to mentor other players for future endeavors, which he has reported he recently did.

If MDawg has a system or tactics that somehow alter the obvious odds for the game, observing his play should provide insight and examples of those tactics. If he does nothing differently from anyone else or his tactics are just Rube Goldberg machinations, then to someone like Shackleford, that will be clear.

I think this sums things up adequately, eh?

Sorry to shatter your egos,

but MDawg does win at the casinos, otherwise he wouldn't have kept up with it after all these years.

Hmm so you're 75 DarkO? I had no idea. Better step it up the time to get off the bus and buy a car may be running out! With me, I have a lot of years left until I'm near the age of most of the people on this forum, let alone anywhere near 75, but with age do not necessarily come wisdom and manners, evidently. Then again PokerG is somewhat young I gather, and as rude with his posts as some of the others.

BTW anyone notice AMZN today? I actually didn't buy it in the pre- today I was too busy with a different stock, but buying it in the pre- today woulda again been a GOOD THING.

How could MDawg convince the naysayers that he has consistently profited over decades?
Would they believe anything that he provides to prove his claims?

There is no way to possibly prove table games wins. I don’t believe he is a long term winner but even if he was he would have no way to prove it to me that I would deem enough.

My point...exactly.

You don't believe his claims, you believe he is a liar, you're calling him a liar, and nothing can change your mind.

Is that correct?

I won’t admit to calling him a liar for suspension reasons lol. However you are correct I don’t believe his claims that he has beaten a negative expectation game for many many years just because of his ego... err I mean amazing discipline.

If their was actual evidence of his wins than I would admit that I’m wrong but that would be almost impossible to have proof of something like this. It’s Mdawg’s word against mathematical probability and I choose to believe the extremely more likely option.

I wouldn't expect sodawater or someone risk averse who lives in a community where the average income is $20K (Buffalo, NY), to know, but anyway I didn't say millions I said over a million, and not immediately after starting practice, I said "soon after."

PAY ME to learn more, there are other ways other than as mentioned above, let me start using my Series 65 for someone other than friends and family, I wouldn't mind.

With all due respect, Soopoo you have millions in the bank but you let your mother go on wearing a fake watch? Why didn't you buy her a real Rolex? Even though my Dad more than handles that I've actually bought my Mom at least a couple of expensive watches over the years. I guess we all have different ideas of spending. I might be very tight with many things, but more free spending with others.

Not talking about you Boz here, your posts are respectful, I hear ya':

Won't be spending as much time on here today, have business in town. Have a good day, all! Every day above ground is a good day!

No, you said you were 75.

Me im 2/3rds that age. My GF is 1/3rd that age

This challenge is one of the dumber posts in this thread. He doesn’t believe the game is beatable and therefore you want him to risk $50k against you in a game that isn’t beatable? The logic here is astounding 🤦‍♂️

I'm not sure that MDawg wants michael to bet on himself to win, MD wants michael to bet against MD.

My impression is that a $50K wager is required to be invited to observe MDawg play, and the wager would be that MDawg will not win overall for the period he is being observed.

It's a side-bet based on MDawg's results, he's willing to bet $50K that he will be ahead after the observation period.

MDawg said he was 75 years old?

I don't remember reading that.

But if he did, then the post would be available to quote.

120 years of casinos dealing baccarat, and we here at the WOV Forum are lucky enough to have the guy who can beat the game.

He's just talking nonsense. I'm nowhere near that age. I am sure I am younger than DarkO. And while we are at it, based on his 1/3 of 75 age for his gf, my wife is just a tad younger than his gf.

He needs to catch the bus now, so he probably mistyped...twice, while stumbling up the bus steps. ☺️

He's doing well though if he is 50 and his gf is 25, I am not putting him down except for his nonsense talk about "75."

Here is the nature of the challenge with Michael99000 which he knows EXACTLY what the wager is but he just keeps talking smack to try and defuse that he whiffed on it. Essentially, I handed him a pussy ticket and he walked.

He will need to come and deposit $50K at the cage. He may play whatever he wants to play BJ roulette craps Baccarat I don't care. No sports betting tho. So may I play whatever I want to play, but it has to be play at the same casino. At the end of two weeks I will be in the plus and I will have won more than he. It is a simple challenge, there is no side bet.

I mean, this is the nature of what I am DOING right now! I am playing with $50K per property and I am leaving Las Vegas ahead at the end of each trip. So for me, it's just business as usual.

Obviously he will have to cover his expenses for those two weeks but if he is playing with $50K and he knows so much about comps as he claims with his repeated smart aleck posts, all his expenses will be covered by the casino.

But...I don't think he even has $50K to gamble with. Just a big mouth.

I can fly, you can’t? All I do is buy a ticket and take my seat and when they open the door I’m in a new city 😂
