Took a bus tour to different casinos in northern Michigan. Wrote and published a report on Hubpages. It's at https://wanderwisdom.com/packages-tours/Traveling-Around-Michigan-Upper-Peninsula-Casinos-on-A-Buus

Enjoy

I enjoyed your write up Don. Too bad about the seating. Did you consider stopping immediately after hitting the five of a kind?

I like the Mt Pleasant casino the best in Michigan. It certainly has the best VP odds. Good report!

Was having too much fun. Spent a while trying to locate my wife to share the screen with her but she had temporarily disappeared into the crowd. Overall had a good time.

Thanks for commenting.

I agree that a 'seating policy' should be disclosed in advance even absent anyone with special needs. Also at $100.00 per person there should be prior disclosure of plastic or upholstered seating.

Many casinos contract out for bus service but publish the routes and schedules on the casino's website.

My local situation is that there are bus routes but I'm nowhere near the stops and its certainly not a scenic tour. It is however one of those really large busses with soft seats. The fare is $25.00 with $20.00 in free play. A lunch coupon is usually provided but never seems to be part of the advertising.

The problem is the bus operator has installed tooany seats. It's not any big deal to move seats (and take a row out) in a bus. It's just bolts in the floor.

I would write the tour operator and the casinos that are paying them, and tell them they have lost your business and why. No customers of theirs should have to endure a long ride in a seat they can't even sit in.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

The bus programs are often akin to the lines that a sailboat plays out; no one is actively fishing but no one will ignore any lunch or dinner that happens to take the bait.

The casinos know that those buses do not bring in any whales, but casinos do not like making enemies and they certainly don't like ADA lawsuits. Even if a complaint letter fails to force the bus company to do anything, the casinos are likely to send some sort of coupon or free play deal to the letter writer.
