He's given up even trying to have
a say in anything or a personality
that's his own. The marriage
totally revolves around her and
what she wants and needs. Many
men think they're happily married
because they've learned how to
behave so their wife isn't mad
at them all the time.

Much like an inmate learns how
to get along with the guards and
not piss them off.

I don't get that feeling from most of my friends that I am close with. I definitely know people like that but I guess I choose not to keep those types as friends.

Years ago I would listen to Dr Laura once in awhile.
She would tell the female callers, get to the point,
tell us why you called, we don't need your life
story.

Even after telling them, the woman would often
wander off into the whole back story of her life
and Laura would have to threaten them to get
to the point or they would be cut off.

Why women feel compelled to over explain
everything is a mystery. It drives men insane,
maybe that's why they do it.

My wife and I are quite happy together.

Neither of us attempt to control the other.

We each have separate interests and do not depend emotionally upon one another.

I suppose I chose well; reading all of the stories from all of the board's losers at love reinforces that belief.

Did you ever notice that one of the first things to go after a man marry's is his friends? Women make it so.

If that starts happening [and it will] in a marriage, a man should also make sure the woman gets rid of any old friends, who will make it her goal, to tell your bride all the stuff your doing wrong.

Old friends are usually marriage killers, but one good friend can last you through two or three wives.

Find out where she's getting her GD info. Suspect any Raven haired women named Rita.

This was not my experience. I melded well with his friends, and have kept most of them as friends, some close as family, despite our divorce. OTOH, he constantly opted out of gatherings, parties, family events on my side, wanting only to cocoon, and several times forcing me to choose between friendships and him. He was never late for work, but ALWAYS late for social things, if he went at all. I believe it was a power play/testing thing, rather than an inability to be ready. And yeah, as an on-time person, I resented it.

I don't think it's a matter of being the man or the woman. More how secure a person is about their relationship with their spouse.

A lot of people might think it's attractive to be needy, dependent, or jealous, or to be the object of those things. In my experience, that gets old fast, though perhaps I'm just not built for that. A lot of people are, I guess.

Geez...ZK sounds just like my young cousin who is in his 20s. He thinks he's smarter and wiser than everyone despite having little of no experience. My cousin would be the first to come argue with me on a subject despite me having a Master's degree in it. He is also a huge marriage and love expert even though he's had less than a handful of girlfriends. He's so wise that he also tried to borrow money from me to buy some bitcoin. His pitch to me was "You'll thank me later." ZK's quote reminded me of him. Of course I didn't lend him a dime. He and his friends pooled some money and bought bitcoin at $18K...

I advise you to write yourself a private journal. Just write your thoughts and feelings. Rediscover them in 10 years when you're actually wiser. You'll be humbled how much you didn't know and cocky you were. Hopefully in 10 years, you'll find yourself and become a more complete and humble person.

I must be getting 'closer' to old man status because I like telling stories...

So when I was 16, much like any other 16 year old kids, I thought "Man, I've got things figured out! Who cares if I know how to get a loan or buy a house or trivial things like that. I don't need to do that for years! I've got life figured out and my parents are so out of touch they don't know a thing!"

Then when I was 21, in college, I was like "Wow, I was such an idiot when I was 16... I didn't know crap about the world. NOW though, I have some real life experience and living on my own! Now though, I know how the world works and more than everyone else around me!"

Then when I was 25, married, I was like "Holy crap I was a moron at 21. They should maybe raise the drinking age to 25. I've had so many epiphanies since being in college and now that I'm out working in the real world I'm so much wiser than I was when I was 21!"

Then finally, I had the real epiphany that we all need to have... At 30, I thought to myself, hey, I bet I'm a moron RIGHT NOW and I just don't know it yet. Hell, look at all the other points in my life where I thought I had it all figured out. I just don't know what else I'll learn in the next X years, but I know I need to take everything with a grain of salt and investigate/evaluate things for myself, because I'm a barely "experienced" idiot that has so much more to learn in life.

ZK, you can know so much, but life is funny, and eventually it'll show you just how much you don't know.

Meanwhile your cousin wanted to buy at 18k and i was telling everyone to sell and have called bitcoin every single time so far of when to sell and buy. Regardless, bitcoin is whatever, Ive also told people to invest in a high growth index fund, which they dhouldve started at a young age such as a technology fund as those are outperforming the market for the last 5 years and averaging 20% gains, not to mention everything else I called as well.

Looking back, i havent been able to humble myself and Im waiting to do so. I guess I really did know it all at a young age. Interesting.
Any private business open to the PUBLIC (ie. droned out casinos) cannot have a criminal trespass enforced against an individual without GOOD CAUSE (Disruptive or Disorderly conduct). When I was a teenager i thought i had it all figured out and that still hasnt changed. I havent been able to humble myself cause i havent been wrong about much, if anything.

Of course i dont know it all, no one does, and theres many smarter people on this forum than me with the math, etc, but in general ive always had a good idea of how to be successful since a very young age, build friendships, show respect, never did any drugs, didnt like to drink, stayed out of trouble, never committed any sort of crime, etc.

I do have a strong ego, more so confidence, but i think it has helped me more than it has hurt me throughout my life, especially when it comes to gaming and competition.

Says the guy who goes off saying everything is rigged one month and then comes back and apologizes to everyone that he was wrong. Says the guy who needs to go to a quiet beach to cool down and lick his wounds. Yup. You are so figured out! How about some humbleness for once in this forum and MAYBE the forum members may show a bit of respect. Maybe start acknowledging that you’re not as good of a counter and there are far better people on this forum. Not that good of a counter? 1100 hours / 50k profit?

If i took the easy way out and got loans and took out mortgages like some people to have a huge bankroll, or had someone fund me, or simply got lucky and overbet my bankroll like the so called stories you hear(fake stories by the way on the GWAE podcast), then that 50k couldve easily been over 300k by now. I made 50k basically with a $150-200 average bet with a 1.5% advantage and never asked for a handout from anyone and never had a job worth more than 11 an hour. If i can do that, the skys the limit for me. Looking at it now, dollar for dollar, im probably the best counter to ever play, especially considering i did it all by ONLY playing shoe games and not one hand of double deck.

Also stop comparing me to your cousin. He said to buy bitcoin at 18k. That just reeks of naiveness, especially considering the gains and uphill slope it was on.

No i didnt need a beach to lick my wounds, but nice try to fit your narrative to bash me.

Saying something is rigged because a lack of transparency is far from being wrong. I have every right to claim that and who the hell knows what goes on behind the scenes. Game is probably legit, but i have and had every right to question the integrity of the game. The ones who dont says a lot about how naive they are.

Again... let me paint a picture to you. To YOURSELF, it may seem like 1100 hours / $50k seems very impressive, and you can go pat yourself in the back (you seem like the type who need self validation). What I’m telling you is that that’s nothing compared to what people on this forum makes. You’re just delusional that 99% of the more-skilled people here do not advertise their profits. They’re smart. You’re like a silly boy in a Wall Street bar boosting that pulled 50K last year day trading, when you’re actually sharing a space with brokers and I-bankers who pulled in 7 figures last year. And they’re all laughing at you in the inside while you keep telling yourself how great you are.

Romes, I wouldn’t even go that far. He’s just like my cousin who is incapable of admitting that he was wrong despite proof. With just a short interaction with him, he’s never going to gain as a human being due to his inability to be self aware. He’s basically a thick headed individual.

Far different from your cousin. Let me know if he can build his bankroll to 60k without a handout from anyone and never having a job of more than 11 n hour. Then get back to me.
Any private business open to the PUBLIC (ie. droned out casinos) cannot have a criminal trespass enforced against an individual without GOOD CAUSE (Disruptive or Disorderly conduct). You will never go to prison for being thrown out of a casino for legal advantage play and then returning because it's simply unconstitutional 'as applied' to the individual. 'As applied' constitutional issues must FIRST be raised in DISTRICT COURT (trial court) to have it thrown out. You CANNOT raise it on APPEAL This is the best kept secret in the world of casinos not just in Vegas but everywhere in the country. Thank me later.

Again... let me paint a picture to you.

You're actually the one mis-understanding the concept im talking about. Its not about the 50k profit, of course thats small potatoes compared to what APs on here 'supposedly' make. Youre missing the proof of concept. Making more is all a matter of bankroll size and average bet. That 50k can easily have been 300k. The ones making 6 figures are all much older than me. Ask them when they were my age if they couldve done what ive done? I bet many couldnt. Regardless of what happens from here on out, i already proved everyone wrong including my family, friends, and people on all these forums.

Again, that depends on where you live.

Sure. If you live in a third world country a six figure bank account may be impressive.
. I'd also question how a strange woman learns the size of ones bank account if one doesn't talk about it.
I'm certain there are plenty of low quality people of both sexes out there. The idea is to avoid them, not marry them.

Idk if this is going off of the same thing, but earlier in the thread, or at least according to Leykis 101's guide thingie, it said to grab a receipt of someone's ATM transaction that shows a 6-figure+ account balance. Then when you give a girl your number, write it on the back.

Sounds like Bob has found the guru he was looking for. Perhaps it's not too late for him to have a happy childhood.

In my opinion, 1100 hours is not a lot. You could absolutely be up $300K or more, but you could absolutely be at 0. You were just at the end of somewhat favorable variance. I’m not going to beat the dead horse. You go ahead and ride away into the sunset on a majestic horse with a flag giving the middle finger to everybody who have been trying to enlighten you. I’m not going to waste any more time on this. I will just give you a standing ovation for your amazing accomplishment!

I’m glad AOS at least got back to even. Looking forward to another trip report Ace, and a positive run!

My buddy did that 10 years ago with a 5-figure receipt at the Luxor. Probably was the easiest lay I’ve seen him get. However it was one of the hardest lay to get rid of after the deed was done.

Got it. Personally, I've always worried about my shit rather then scrounging for other people's trash.
I've found many people seek for validation, not real growth. It's so much easier to commiserate than to improve.

No, we're not... and that's part of your naive nature. You think something and then just assume it's true. Also, never took out 1 loan, borrowed money from anyone, etc, etc, etc. I must have the world figured out now =).

Like I said, true enlightenment is the fact that I know me in 5 or 10 years will look at me now and be like, yeah that guy was pretty dumb... How did it take him so long to figure out X, Y, Z??? etc etc.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

Can you remember when you thought 21 yr. olds were wise and worldly? Now I see them and I want to check their ID. Can't believe they let these kids into a bar. lol

finally, I had the real epiphany that we all need to have...

That right there, is the difference between knowledge and wisdom.
