We are leaving tomorrow for a 3 day vegas weekend without the kids. First time we will be away from both if them for that long. Only problem is, we have gone on 2 vacations this summer so we are suffering from thst non fatal disease fundsislow.
I have put together a 3 day weekend where we will do a ton of coupon hustling and have a goal of doing this weekend for free. I am going to outline it here for fun. Most of the things we are doing are things that anyone can do. A few of them are bounce back offers so most of you will laugh at my low rollerNess but thats ok. We also have some myvegas stuff and some other things
If anyone has anything to add that can add to our free weekend I would appreciate it. If it is a sensitive piece if material then PM works too.

Let me give you a lesson someone taught me 20 years ago. This guy spent half his life on the road.
It is so simple.
1)Put your bag on your bed.
2)Pack it.
3)Unpack it and divide contents into two equal halves.
4)Pack one half and put the rest away.

That is so true. I am pretty good though. I have 3 shirts, 2 shorts, swim trunks. Not fair, I am fat so my clothes are bigger.

Isn't that just for new members of the club? If not, I have passed on lots of EV because my wife and I fly Spirit about three times a year.

Spent a little extra money last night so that is a bummer. Damn vegas being fun.
We got in around 11 pm last night which is 2am our time. We took lyft for $13. We watched a band called alter ego on 3rd St stage. They were really good playing 90's metal and alternative. We enjoyed them greatly. When they were done at 1 am we walked down to evil pie and each got a slice and a beer for $10 total. Before we went out side we walked around lookin for waitress and got 3 free drinks. Spent $8 in tips.
Before 3am bed
Total cost $215

When we checked in we elected to not have housekeeping. Thst got us a $30 food credit. We had late breakfast at claim jumper which cost 28.95 so it was free with our 30 credit. After that we went to the pool. I though the shark tank and water slide was a neat touch but got old after about 10 minutes. We spent 3 hours at the pool and now we are in the room getting ready to do our coupon collecting.our room came with free tickets to Frankie Moreno and 2 free buffets so we will do the buffets for dinner and the show afterwords.
I mentioned that we watched the band last night. They were really good and they play again tonight at 7pm. We are going to watch them for a little and then go to frankie.

Just came from the D. We used our 25 match play. I am an existing customer so I asked if they still did the spirit thing and the answer was yes. Even as an existing customer they gave us each $50 match play. She pulled out a log to write the redemption on and I was the first entry for the day. 5pm on a Saturday and the first so it must not be a well known thing.

The only advisement I ever saw for it was when on the plane. It wasn't mentioned anywhere else that I know of.

Just ate the golden nugget buffet. It was comped but I am a not sure that I would eat it again for free. I am not a picky eater at all but I thought it was horrible. Maybe the worst I have ever had.

Today was fun. After the pool we went to do some of our las vegas advisor coupon runs. We did not play 1 penny past the coupon.
Here is our breakdown

2 free aces with $10 bet. Into $25 after getting abother ace and having to split.

After that we decided to go back to our room but on the way back I saw zowie bowie was performing on Fremont so we stopped to watch him. While watching him this really tall guy stood next to me. Turns out his name is George something rather and is the tallest man in the US. ZowIe finished up at 1am. We went up to the D for sigma derby but there were 30 people standing around so we just went back to the room and now it's time for bed. We only had 6 drinks today so I tupped another $5 overall

Nice report, but I wish you wouldn't mention not playing any more than you needed to for the coupons. Casinos have long memories and several casinos have supposedly pulled out of the book because they claim too many people do exactly that. The casinos offer these coupons as incentives to come and play more so its best to at least pretend we do these things. Loose lips sink ships, as they say.

Thanks romes. Yes it's been a nice trip. Carnival court is a really fun place with great bartenders. They do some flair bartending but it is not crazy where it delays your drink. They also take total rewards credits do we were able to drink for free basically. I will post a few videos when I get home.
I will finish my trip report bUT have been having battwry issues. I broke a charger and a battery charger. One got water in it and the others connection broke.

I liked the court when you could throw $20 in a VP machine and slow play your way to several drinks while watching some pretty good bands. Not a fan of flair bartenders. I'm old school. Serve drinks and listen to people bitch.

Carnival Court is always a good time! If you are a beer snob, I highly recommend Tag Bar at the Linq. I got the recommendation from somebody's TR. They don't have the greatest VP paytables, but if you slow play your $20 in the machine you can order some GREAT and hard to come by beers as comps.

It might have been one of mine. I tend to spend 10+ hours at TAG every trip. They have the "red light/green light" system now. But from what I have heard, it only takes $7 coin-in per 2 minutes to keep it green.
I stopped posting TRs here, partly due to EvenBob being, well, EvenBob. Also the image coding here is different than any other forum I post at, but I used to bother to reformat my reports just for here. Why we don't use [img]your_image.jpg[/img] here like everyone else in the forum world is beyond me. But it's a bit too late now to change unless the [img]your_image.jpg[/img] format can be added to the currently accepted format.
