Time for supper at the steak house. This is a starter of Lobster Bisque. I'll do some more low rolling afterward.

For $99.99 I'll sale you my winning strategy!!
Just kidding. I usually play the don't. My wife came to the table to roll and I switched to the pass line. She rolled for a little over 30 minutes!! I didn't get in till late in the roll, but I still made around $75 on her roll.
Absolutely the best steak I have ever eaten!!!! This is only half of it btw.
What cut steak is that, T-bone?
Btw I asked a dealer what the rules where on the DD blackjack but couldn't get a straight answer. He said it was the same as the shoe game. So I really didn't find out anything. I do know they use a notch for the cut card so penetration is consistent. I'd say about 60%.
Trip is now +$65
Quote: Mikey75The steak was a home in ribeye. Excellent. Just played another short craps session. Lost $45. Heading to another store for some DD blackjack.

Alright let's keep this train rolling in the positive direction - wishing you positive variance!
Quote: kewljI've never seen $25,000 chips. They look the same color as $5 chips. LOL.
Funny thing though as I look at that rack. I am in my 13th year of professional blackjack play. I have made just under $700,000 in that time. The first 5 years were at very low stakes and it took 5 years to reach my first 100K. Over the last 5 years, playing mid-level stakes, I have averaged just under 100K per year.
But here's the thing. Less than 1 and a half rows of that rack would be my entire career earnings. Yikes. That's making me feel pretty insignificant. :(
They have 25K chips at the Mirage high limit room. I'm sure most high-end strip properties have them too.

All in all a great trip. If I counted the comps I received I would be ahead for the trip.
I had my first real experience with DD BJ. The min was $5 but everyone in the table was betting $10. I was the only one playing $5. At one point in the DD game I had a $20 bet out. I drew 11 against the dealer 10. Doubled down. Dealer flips a ten I drew a 5. I did win a couple of $25 bets to climb back a little.
My wife had some great rolls of the dice. She hit all small once and only liked one point rolling every number. She rolled every number but one on the all tall and one on the all small twice after that. She can shoot them bones!! She saved our trip from being much worse than it was. And she broke even for the trip. I only played two places this trip. I never even stepped in horseshoe or roadhouse this trip.
Crowds where much smaller than what I am used to. Comps are tighter than they have been in the past, but still looser than anywhere else I know of. One of the dealers said several places where barely hanging on. Hollywood only had half of the craps table opened. It was full so I didn't play. I really do think the market is hurting bad. Time will tell how it plays out.
Glad your wife can throw the bones. Very good to have a partner in crime so to speak.
