I found a game in an Indian casino, CA:

Double Back Jack
-2 Decks
-Split 4 Times
-Black Jack pays 2 to 1 & beats dealers Black Jack
-Player 21 pays right away
-Bust and still play (Bust your hand, double your bet, receive 1 card that is subtracted from total)
-Dealers 22 pushes all remaining hands

Has this been analyzed anywhere?

-Dealers 22 pushes all remaining hands

"Dealer bust on 22 is a push ........ -6.91%" per WoO webpage

unanalyzed at WoO webpage. Will he stand for it? [I don't see it anyway]

Sorry, I accidentally made two threads for the same subject and don't know how to delete one of them. Could someone teach me?

How'd you get that so quickly? I don't see the "bust and still play" option on the wizard's list of unusual rules and corresponding house edge adjustments.

UCivian, where is this game offered?

This is played at ' rel='nofollow' target='_blank'>http://www.firerocknavajocasino.com/blackjack.html] Fire Rock Navajo Casino.com

Fire Rock Navajo Casino's website says, "...Bust and still play (Bust your hand, double your bet, receive 1 card that is subtracted from total)..." Do you know how much such a winning hand would pay? That is, if your original bet was $10, you busted and put up another $10, and then won, would you be paid $10 or $20?

Edit: It's paid $10. Here's a website that explains the game. Even though the game is played with two decks, my infinite-deck strategy agrees exactly with this. My infinite-deck HE is about 1.3% making the game a little worse than buzzpaff's result :-).

Remember I was distracted playing chess at the time. Magnus Carlsen is now down 3 games to nothing and says I am cheating. What a cry baby.

I don't know if the game is analyzed, but I believe that the only value of subtracting after a bust would be when the dealer has a 2 or 3 up and you've busted on a 12. Even still, you stand to win 10 or lose 20. That's a standard EV of -1 before you even get to the dealer's hand.

With the appearance of 2 new 'push 22' games being discussed in this forum, I'd just like to state that the 'Push 22' concept is patented and the patent is owned by myself and the only licensee is Shuffle Master.

I wondered about that......it will be interesting to see if any of the "borrowers of IP" have any success.

It is really gonna suck for them if they get 10-15 installs and suddenly realize they need to shut down or start paying you a royalty!

Nice ... Does your patent cover pushing on any particular sum above 21, or did you miss that opportunity?

I have no direct knowledge but I bet that totals 22 thru 26 are covered. for a hard 27 you have to hit 17 .
