We are runnig (EU) Punto Banco (Baccarat) with 5% commisision on Bankier wins (6 decks). Now we would like to add side bet Lucky 6 / Tiger bet where pay out will be 20:1 whit 3 cards Banker wins and 12:1 whit whit 2 cards Banker wins with 6.
Our wish is that this side bet will be endepenadt vs. player or banker bet (like Tie bet)
OK, we know that this bet have 20% + HA.
Common rules are that provision is 1/2 pay-out on banker wins with 6 (1.05% vs 1.45%). But this is much more then 5% provision?
What do you thig if we will get 20% provision on winning with 2 cards and 50% on winning with 3 cards 6 Banker wins?
Our goal is to make common lay-out tables and not complicaded game vs. dealelers and playars (5% slow dawn the game too much).
BTW, our limits are min. 40 - max. 2500 & 100 - 5000
What is your suggestion for min. & max. on Lucky 6 vs. our limits?
My oppinion is 10 -200 & 50 - 500?
Best regards,
Robert B.

I think the 20%/50% suggestion will make things more complex.
Maybe the rule could be that Banker win with a 3-card 4 leads to a push? If you want an innovative way to do commission other than 5%, I can quickly run the math this afternoon.
Lucky 6 isn’t particularly countable so I don’t think the min/max will matter too much unless you’re really worried about volatility. (I’m a mathematician not casino pit boss so not as sure about this)

So you will allow only the single circle Tiger bet, not the independent small / big Tiger bets?

In Vegas, the Majors on the Strip have a $25K stated maximum on Bank/Player.
Of these, some allow a max of $1000. on the small / large Tiger (paying $22K / $50K). Some allow a max of $2000., some a max of $2500.
As special limits (higher than $25K) are allowed, typically until the special limit is increased substantially (not just $5000.) the small Tiger bet limits are increased while the big Tiger bet maxs remain static.
As far as tie bets, they range from a max of $5K to $12.5K on stated $25K max Baccarat.
I don't have much personal experience with the single circle Tiger bet, but maybe the relative values above will help you.

HI Harris,
Good idea, My goal is that provision (Banker) have to be charged just on ONE combination and max 5% 0r less?
Lucy 6 is only 20:1.

In EZ Baccarat, the Banker pushes on a winning 3-card 7, which occurs 2.25% of the time.
I can make a slightly different version of this if you want.

Harris,
I have to tell you that we have a Chinese olayers who did't like to play "No commission" Panda/Dragon baccarat. They prefer classic 5%.
Dont ask me why?
Dragon/panda was not idependent wager vs. Lucky 6 wich will be!
So we still could run classic PB or PB under your suggestion which will be much faster.

Easy- have a rule where the Banker pushes if he wins with a 1, 2 or 3.
And you can have a sidebet, have it pay 12:1 if both hands are 3 or less. Not much risk of variance there, with only a 12:1 payout, right? You can go way higher on the max bet for that, up to $500 or more. It'll be a gold mine for you!

Chinese-American players prefer the original Face-Down Pai Gow Poker with commission. I think just for superstitious reasons. Have you tried asking the players why they don’t play commission baccarat? Maybe they could accept a different non-commission version if the odds seemed more in their favor or if the side bets were different

In general larger players prefer classic Baccarat especially if they are not into the side bets. Although over time things more or less even out, getting hit with zero pay on a three card 7, or half pay on a three card 6 really stings if the bet is five figures.
I'd think though that where the max is only 2500, or even 5000, this sort of thing wouldn't be as much of a worry.
Most Baccarat players will vary the bet, and getting stuck with no or half pay on a very large table max bet leaves a bad taste that is not soon forgotten.
