There is a new side bet in roulette in Aruba called Royal Flop Roulette. It is based on two cards from a 38-card deck and the outcome of one spin. Every number on the wheel is associated with a particular playing card of rank 6 to ace. Jokers are wild. It should not be confused with Triple Flop Roulette. Bottom line is a house edge of 22.85%.

The question for the poll is would make the Royal Flop Roulette bet if playing roulette anyway?

If they could just get it down to 21.85% it would have a chance.

Can’t say I’ve ever been to Aruba, but years ago saw a shirt that said 99 out 100 American Teens recommenced it.

Obviously no one would here would play it but I wonder at some point does the HA even matter to most?

Might even be a worthwhile discussion for developers to consider if they are leaving money and placements on the table by trying to offer a “fair” game to players.

How many players that play this care of the HA is 8% or 28%?

I'd say about 8%.

Wisdom for game designers if you are correct, which I would believe you are close.

Depends. Are you designing the game for locals or tourists? Tourists may not know the difference until their money is all gone. Locals will very quickly see what the house edge is based on time on device.

A base Carnival game has to be interesting and return enough to get return play. But an add on side bet like this in a tourist area is better off with a high HA and the potential for a few big wins that dealers and others talk about in my opinion. We are probably in agreement on this based on your point.
