Hit Me Baccarat is based on conventional baccarat, but adds a side bet if you lose on the Player or Banker bet that an extra card will cause your side to win. The win is based on your chances of winning. What adds insult to injury with this game is the wins are already less than fair and then they charge an extra 2.5% on top of that. All things considered, the house edge ranges from 8.85% to 24.04%, depending on the card you have to beat.
So, please click the link and let me know what you think about this game. The question for the poll is would you play Hit Me Baccarat?

Unless you could bet $1 and have the payout rounded up for the $0.488 bets!
Otherwise even if you made a $5 bet and if you have to beat a 1 and are paid 1/2 (in this case $3) then you are on a 0 and have five ways to lose (or not win) and eight ways to win. So for every $65 bets (13 wagers on each possible card) you lose $1 (8*3 - 5*5), there's still a small house edge.

Good point. I played some more, paying careful attention to the rounding, and find their help file is in error, and the win is rounded up to the penny only. Thank you.

Pity. This is a very clever wager idea that will no doubt die a quick death beneath the weight of its crushing house edge.
Any chance that EZ Baccarat or perhaps a generic mini baccarat (with a plethora of side bets) will appear in the play-for-fun games here? It would be fun to mess around with stuff like counting the Panda Eight or daring the Cow Cow.
P.S. And since I'm now having a Planet 13 pipe dream, I'd also like to see: High Card Flush, Lunar Poker (hurry, before they change the rules again), a Fortune Bonus option added to Pai Gow Poker, and [puff puff] a live poker room for users to play against each other (with live chat and play money) to practice optimal strategy depending on number of players and your position relative to the button.

What happens if you get a tie after the extra card is dealt? Is the wager lost, or pushed?

I would play this, but I would never do the side bet. Just the straight up baccarat round. I figure at a full table, with that extra side game being played, it would slow the main game down and save a little money in the long run.

This is somewhat similar to the second round of betting in the game Red Double Baccarat. While that game includes a completely separate second round of betting on who the player thinks will win the hand based on the first 4 cards, this is similar in its structure, but is more of a salvage bet to try and win after a loss.
