Hi.

Can someone help me about this question about Baccarat:

How the risk for the casino is affected when a single player bets on other active players side bets boxes at the same time, assuming of course the other players won´t play it and the casino allows it?

the next time Dame Fortune toys with your heart, your soul and your wallet, raise your glass and praise her thus: “Thanks for nothing, you cold-hearted, evil, damnable, nefarious, low-life, malicious monster from Hell!”   She is, after all, stone deaf. ... Arnold Snyder

Hi. Welcome to the forum. I deleted your duplicate question. Please don't post more than one place with the same info.

It does not affect the casino by the odds in the slightest for you to do that. It does not change your odds of winning the side bet, either, because while you may win more frequently, you're exposing more money, in equal proportion to your odds of winning and the paytable. It should all wash in the long run.

Caveat specific to baccarat: depends on the structure of the side bet, but most I've seen, either the bet wins or loses for everybody, sinice there are only 2 hands. There is one I heard about, though, a progressive streak bet, and a button passes where only one player can win the jackpot in rotation. If that's your particular case, you probably need to specify exactly what bet you're asking about, because the odds would change.

However. Most casinos I've played at frown on this in general, or have specific limits of when or how many. I think this is primarily to keep players from offending each other bugging people about playing their spot, or arguing about who won the money, or who placed the bet, or who touched the money, or whatever fuss could be made. (You can be sure fusses have been made, some over huge amounts, others over $5.)
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.
